prayer request for relationship that turned sour

Please pray for me. I fell in love with a girl that I got to know for 4 years. We met on a missions trip, then hung out for a while. I developed feelings for her for the past year, and decided to tell her how I felt. She told me she just wants to be friends. Now she doesn't want to talk to me or be near me. I still have strong feelings for her, and would like to be in a long term covenant relationship with her if at all possible. Please pray for my special situation. I think I made her feel very uncomfortable around me, and I don't know what else to do. I don't want to hurt her. I really care about her and still love her. Her friendship means a lot to me, and it seems that I am just a stranger to her now.

Lord, I bring this young man to You and pray that You would help him concerning his feelings for this girl. I pray that if this girl is not meant to be for this young man that You would help him get over it and trust that You will bring the right one on his path on Your appointed time. I pray You would speak Yourself in the heart of this young man concerning this situation. May he receive total peace concerning the matter. In Jesus Name. amen
