We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for your upcoming interview. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity for this dear one, granting wisdom, clarity, and favor in the eyes of those conducting the interview. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they prepare and step into this moment. Provide for their needs—transportation, household necessities, and every practical concern—according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we also recognize the deeper longings of the heart expressed here. We pray for protection from negative influences and toxic relationships that may seek to discourage or distract. Surround this one with godly counsel, encouragement, and community that points them toward You. And Father, we lift up the desire for a wife—a helpmate, a companion in faith. We ask that You prepare their heart and the heart of the one You have for them, that their union would be rooted in Christ, honoring to You, and built on the foundation of Your Word. May they seek a spouse who loves You above all else, walking in purity, holiness, and mutual submission as Your Word commands.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or anxiety that may be trying to take hold. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens them (Romans 8:37). We also gently remind that our trust must be in You alone, not in signs, symbols, or repeated phrases that may distract from wholehearted reliance on You. You are our Provider, our Protector, and our Peace.
Father, we ask that You would guide this one in all their ways, that their steps would be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). Help them to walk in integrity, diligence, and excellence, reflecting Your character in all they do. And as they seek a spouse, may they first seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father. There is no other name by which we can approach You, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12). May this one find their strength, hope, and identity in Christ alone. Amen.
