Prayer request for new chapters

Disciple of Prayer
I am requesting prayer in a major period of transition. I have a strong desire to move from my current home to a bigger home in a better neighborhood for my family, I ask for protection and for God’s perfect will to be fulfilled in my family’s lives. I have the strong desire to start a new career (self-employed) and have a strong sense of the time for a new chapter to move forward but feel so much resistance to start, in career path especially. Many opportunities have presented themselves for career and homes but none come to pass at the end of process causing so much despair and frustration over the years. I am asking for prayer for increased discernment, God’s protection, mercy and grace to stay faithful and focused during this period, not allowing frustration. I am requesting prayer for continued strength and patience in this season of waiting for the changes I desire. I also desire for a legal matter to be resolved and to get married to my partner. Finances, debt and strong job opportunities and challenges to stay focused are standing in the way of all the changes I desire and breakthrough is needed. Also praying for breakthrough and deliverance for my daughter who is growing perfectly healthy by God’s grace but is almost completely nonverbal unable to have a conversation or answer questions but speaks the name of Jesus (diagnosis of autism). My mother is a Christian but has accepted physical and mental illness and needs complete deliverance to live a life without medications (addiction) and pains, her husband has accepted severe depression and has suicidal thoughts.

I have shifted from praying to God for answers to my prayer but rather thanking Him for answering my prayers and for all the many blessings in my life, my spiritual life is growing and stronger than ever however I still have so much desires for change that are not taking place in my life.

Thank you and God bless you abundantly for answering the call to prayer for me and so many others.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up your situation before Him. Father, we thank You for this brother or sister in Christ who has come to You with a humble and open heart, seeking Your will and Your guidance in this season of transition. We know that You are a God who hears our prayers and works all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We stand with them in agreement, believing that You are moving even when the path is not yet clear.

Lord, we first ask for Your wisdom and discernment as they seek a new home for their family. You have promised in Your Word that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, and You will give it generously and without reproach (James 1:5). We pray that You would open the right doors and close those that are not aligned with Your perfect will. Give them peace in knowing that You are their provider, and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke any spirit of frustration or despair that has tried to take root in their heart, and we declare that their steps are ordered by You, Lord (Psalm 37:23).

Regarding their desire to start a new career, we pray for clarity and courage. The fear of stepping out in faith can be overwhelming, but we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would guide them into the work You have prepared for them in advance (Ephesians 2:10). We rebuke any resistance or doubt that has held them back, and we declare that they will walk in the calling You have placed on their life. Father, we ask that You would provide the resources, connections, and opportunities they need to move forward in this new chapter. We pray for breakthrough in their finances and debt, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

We also lift up their desire for marriage. Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, instituted by You for Your glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We pray that You would prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse to honor You in this union. We ask that You would bring them together in Your perfect timing, and that their relationship would be built on a foundation of faith, love, and mutual respect. However, we must address the current situation with their partner. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage (Hebrews 13:4), and we encourage them to honor You by either pursuing marriage with a godly intent or refraining from sexual relations until they are married. We pray for repentance and alignment with Your will in this area, trusting that Your ways are higher and better than our own.

Father, we lift up their daughter to You, asking for Your healing touch and breakthrough in her life. We know that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You would open her mouth to speak and communicate in ways that bring glory to Your name. We declare that she will not be defined by her diagnosis, but by the purpose You have for her life. We pray for patience, wisdom, and strength for them as parents, trusting that You are working in her life even when progress seems slow.

We also intercede for their mother and her husband. Father, we ask for complete deliverance from physical and mental illness, addiction, and depression. Your Word tells us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for them. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression, declaring that they will walk in the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You. We pray for a renewed mind and spirit (Romans 12:2), and that they would experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We are encouraged by their shift from praying for answers to thanking You in advance for Your provision. This is a powerful act of faith, and we know that You honor those who trust in You (Proverbs 3:5-6). Father, we ask that You would continue to strengthen their faith, even in the waiting. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to remember that Your timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with their own.

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of delay, frustration, and unbelief in their life. We declare that they will not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, filling them with hope, joy, and expectation for the new chapters You are writing in their life. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, and we stand in agreement with them, believing that breakthrough is coming.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right there with you in prayer, standing in faith for the new chapters you're eager to see unfold in your life. We're believing with you for God's perfect will to be done in your family's move, your career transition, and the legal matter at hand.

We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We're trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6), and we're expecting breakthroughs in all areas.

For your daughter, we're claiming Isaiah 43:1, "But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.'" We're believing for her healing and deliverance, and we're standing in faith for her to speak the name of Jesus with clarity and understanding.

For your mother and her husband, we're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for complete healing, deliverance from depression and addiction, and a renewed mind and spirit.

We're also claiming 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." We're trusting that God will provide all that's needed for your family's move, your new career, and the resolution of the legal matter.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep watching for God's faithfulness. He's got this, and He's working everything out for your good. We're right there with you, believing and praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
