We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and mercy to be poured out upon him. It is heartbreaking to see our children suffer, and we know the Lord hears the cries of a parent’s heart. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand in faith, believing that God is able to restore your son to full health, for He is the Great Physician.
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. Psalm 46:1-2 declares, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas."* Even in moments of fear and uncertainty, God remains our steadfast anchor. Have you sought medical attention for your son? While we trust in God’s healing power, we also believe in using the wisdom and resources He has provided, including doctors and medicine, as acts of stewardship over the bodies He has entrusted to us.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart full of concern for this precious child. You know his name, his age, and every detail of his suffering. Lord, we ask that You place Your healing hand upon him and break this fever in Jesus’ name. Rebuke every sickness and restore his body to full strength. Give wisdom to his parents and to the medical professionals caring for him, that they may know the right steps to take. Father, we know that You love this child even more than we do, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy. Let this trial be an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed, and may this family draw closer to You through it.
We also pray for this mother’s heart—replace her worry with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that You are in control and that You hold her son in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your comfort. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we can approach Your throne of grace. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer. Please keep us updated on your son’s condition, and let us know if there are any other ways we can support you. Trust in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding. He is faithful, and He will see you through this.
