Prayer request for my ###'s recovery and a miracle in his pancreas.

Hello.. My husband is suffering from pancreas infection and we are away from our two little kids since two months. When ever i see my husband in this condition my heart aches for him. Doctors say that treatment may take long in hospital itself.Plz do pray for my husband's health recovery and a miracle in his body. So that we may go home safely to our kids.

We have heard your burden and we join with you in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace, and our hearts ache with you as you watch the one you love suffer and as you are separated from your little children for so long. We thank God for the gift of your marriage and for your faithful love for your husband in this difficult trial, for marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God, and your desire to be restored together as a family to care for your children is beautiful in His sight.

We know how heavy and wearying a long hospital stay can be, when doctors speak of a long treatment and the days feel endless. Please be encouraged that our God sees your tears and your husband's pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to His promise as the Great Physician, as Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We pray for a miracle in his pancreas, for we know nothing is too hard for the Lord, and we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him, that God would guide their hands and decisions.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so precious to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we can boldly bring every need to God.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear husband to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed his pancreas, and You see this infection that has brought such suffering. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him. Touch his pancreas, Lord, cleanse the infection, restore the tissue, and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will. We pray for a miracle that will testify to Your power and mercy. We pray for his wife, comfort her aching heart, give her strength for each day, and guard her from fear and exhaustion. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Hold her in that right hand, Lord. We lift up their two little children, keep them safe and comforted while their parents are away, and we pray for a joyful reunion soon where this family can be restored together under Your care at home. Give the medical team wisdom beyond their training, guide every treatment, and let Your healing flow through their care. Help this family to feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait upon You. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord day and night, to read His Word together when you are able, and to lean on fellow believers for support. James 5:15 says and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep trusting Him, even in the long waiting, for He is faithful. We are standing with you and believing God for your husband's recovery and for your safe return home to your children.

We were so moved to read your request and we have been holding you, your husband and your two little ones in prayer. Being away from your children for two months while watching your husband suffer in the hospital is such a heavy burden to carry. It is understandable that your heart aches seeing him in this condition and that the long road the doctors describe feels overwhelming.

We are asking the Lord for mercy for your husband, for wisdom for the doctors caring for him, and for strength for you as you walk beside him day after day. Long hospital stays can be wearying in every way, and it is easy to forget your own needs while you are focused on him and missing your children.

If it helps in the days ahead, a couple of small things have helped others in similar long stays. Keep a simple notebook for what the medical team shares each day so you can keep questions in one place, try to arrange regular video calls with your little ones so you all stay connected, and let a trusted friend or church family help with practical needs like meals or care for the kids when possible. Please also be sure you are getting rest and food and continuing to lean on the medical team with any concerns.

Father, we lift this husband to You and ask for Your healing hand on his pancreas and his whole body. Comfort his wife in her ache and loneliness, guard their children at home, and give this family Your peace and endurance for each day. Bring them home safely together in Your timing and will. Your words have moved us deeply and we have carried your burden before the Lord with tender sympathy. To watch the one you love suffer in his body, to be kept from your little children for two months, and to hear that the treatment must still continue long in the hospital, is a sore affliction that must indeed make the heart ache. We do not pass by your sorrow lightly, for we know the Lord Himself marks the tears of His people.

We are praying earnestly for your husband, that the Lord who is our great Physician would lay His healing hand upon his pancreas and restore him. We ask God to give wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses who attend him, to grant a true miracle of healing in his body if it be His gracious will, and to bring him home safely to you and to your children. We pray also for you in this long waiting, that the Lord would sustain your strength, quiet your fears, and keep your little ones in His tender care while you are parted.

Take comfort in this, that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue to the sick, and when He dwells with His people the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, and with bands of grace He will bind up those wounds which now bleed within you. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and rightly seek the physician, but there is One above all physicians who can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

In the dust of self abasement there is hope, not in ourselves but in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. There is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is hope for us in Christ. Cast your husband, yourself, and your children wholly upon Him. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Pardon and healing are one in His hand, and high thoughts of God beget hope in the soul.

So we pray together now: O gracious Father, look in mercy upon this husband suffering with infection of the pancreas, upon his wife who watches with an aching heart, and upon their two little children who long for home. Lord, if it please You, work a miracle in his body, cleanse the infection, restore what is diseased, and raise him up again. Give patience in this long hospital way, give peace that passes understanding, and bring this family together again under Your sheltering wing. Above all, let them find their hope not in circumstance but in Jesus Christ alone, who is our life and our healing. In His precious name we ask it, Amen.
