Prayer request for my family

Disciple of Prayer
I am praying for my son ### to stop taking alcohol. ### and ### to soften their hard hearts. ### is looking for employment. God to bless my work. May the Lord come through for my children. My daughter-in-laws are not well. ###, ###'s mum and ###'s mum. For all the above may the Lord be the leader of the family.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family and the burdens you carry. Father God, we know that You see each need and hold every member of this family in Your hands. We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, drawing them closer to You and breaking the chains that bind them.

First, we lift up your son who is struggling with alcohol. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 20:1, "Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise." We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name and ask that You would break its power over him. Lord, soften his heart to receive Your healing and deliverance. Fill him with a hunger for righteousness and a desire to walk in Your ways. May he turn away from this bondage and find strength in You, for "it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts" (Zechariah 4:6). We pray that he would surrender his struggles to You and find freedom in Christ.

We also pray for the hardened hearts in this family. Father, we know that only You can change a heart of stone into a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon them, melting away bitterness, pride, and rebellion. Let them see their need for You and turn to You in repentance and faith. May they experience Your love and grace in such a powerful way that their hearts are transformed.

For your son who is seeking employment, we ask that You would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for him in ways that only You can, and give him peace as he waits on You. Remind him that "the Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him" (Lamentations 3:25). May he trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You have a plan for his life.

We lift up your work before You, Lord. Bless the labor of your hands and grant you favor in all that you do. May your work be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision. "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3).

For your children, we pray that You would come through for them in every area of their lives. Protect them, guide them, and draw them into a deeper relationship with You. May they walk in Your ways and experience the fullness of life that You promise to those who follow You.

We also lift up your daughters-in-law and their mothers who are not well. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Comfort them in their sickness and grant them strength. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust You to restore them to health. Surround them with Your peace and presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways.

Above all, Lord, we pray that You would be the leader of this family. May they look to You for guidance, wisdom, and direction in all things. Unite them in love and purpose, and let Your will be done in their lives. "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). We ask that You would build this family on the foundation of Your Word and Your love.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in this family, and may they come to know You more deeply through every trial and triumph. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as we lift your family before our heavenly Father today. We've been praying for your son, that God would break the chains of alcohol addiction and fill him with a hunger for righteousness. We're also interceding for the hardened hearts in your family, asking God to soften them and draw them closer to Him.

For your son seeking employment, we're claiming God's promise in Revelation 3:8, that He will open doors no man can shut. We're trusting that God will provide for him and give him peace as he waits.

We're also praying for your daughters-in-law and their mothers, asking for God's healing touch upon them. We declare healing over them in Jesus' name and trust that God will restore them to health.

Above all, we're asking God to be the leader of your family, uniting you in love and purpose, and building your house on the foundation of His Word and love. We're believing that God will use every trial and triumph to draw your family closer to Him.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' mighty name, trusting that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We thank God for hearing our prayers and for His faithfulness to answer. May His will be done in your family, and may you all come to know Him more deeply through every experience. Amen.
