Dear Brother Antony,
I am a regular viewer of your Blessing today in Surya TV. but, unfotunately I was not able to watch the programme for the last 10 days due to power cut during that time.
I am inspried by your programme and prayed along with you and thrice I contacted at this No.0484 4222111 and spoken to Borther twice and sister tice who had attended the call.
Dear Brother, I am writing this letter with agony. It is for my daughter, Merly, she got married on 26th June, 2011. It was a arranged marriage. As our son-in-law's father is no more. We have met all expenses including food, mandapam and other decoration expenses etc.etc. based on the assurance given by his mother that they will bear half of the expenses. We have given 35 Soverns to our daughter including one bracelet and ring to son-in-law. But, they have not given any gold to my daughter except the Minu. Before marriage they were very friendly.But, after marriage they turned opposite. They told our daughter we won't give any money for marriage expenses, because we have not given dowry in Cash (for yr kind information they have not asked for cash) so they won't share the expenses. For that also we have agreed considering that our daughter is at their home. But after that also they (mother-in-law, husband and sister-in-law) were tortured saying that we informed someone that they have not given the money incurred for the marriage expenses).
He never took my daughter outside except two of their relations, who is residing locacally. She requested him to take to Velangani Church or St. Alphonsa Amma's Churh and our relation's residence. If she asks he used tell her,if you want to go outside yr Mum would have married to a boy who is having a habit of roaming here and there. She beared everything. He never hear any word of my daughter, if anything she asks he used to tell ask my mother or sister or his elder brother's wife. He never gie any freedom to her.
Moreover her mother-in-law and husband, brother and sister-in-law are saying that she has to give all the jewels to her-mother-in-law that is their belonging. But, in the beginning itelf they have not honoured their words, we kept the jewels in Bank locker in her name and informed her mother-in-law, if there is any necessity like purchasing a land (they don't have own house) she can use it for any useful purpose.
Dear brother it is our mistake that we believed in their acting before marriage and thought even if they don't have wealth they are affectionate people. Both of them can work (my daughter is a PG Student BBI in regular college and MBA in corres.) Before marriage she was working in Coimbatore itself in a BPO Organization as Customer Support Executive.
Since it is a night sihif job she resigned the job after getting permission from him only,who has given assurance that he is having a friend in HDFC Bank and can arrange a job. But after marriage her sister-in law was telling that they have married her since she i having a job and earning Rs.15000 per month. She was trying for a job, even if any interview letter comes, if she asks her husband to accompany her to attend the interview at unfamiliar places, he won't accompany her and used to tell you are educated and you know language o you can find out and go. His mother also supports him. In front of her she used to act as she is good but behind that she used to tell her son just opposite to that.
After two month they fixed a very small house for rent in 2 minutes walkabel distnce to mother in-law's house. She was tortured my daughter that we have buy all the house-hold thingsi.e.,Almarah, Cot, TV, Fridge, Washing machine, furniture etc. and provision for one complete month. But, as per out culture we bought one almarach and some utelsils , some provisions.
At last one 18th Sept,2011 he contact over phone and shouted at my husband that we had to go there immediatel, Since they day my husband got work at Office he told that he would come next sunday. But, after that within in half an hour they sent alone my daughter in a call taxi along with her dresses.
After a week, w went to their home with our Close friend and wife why you sent my daughter. They were placed conditions, we have to surrender all jewels to her mother and buy all the House-hold things. But our daughter is telling pls, She con't accept thier conditions as her husband never given any consideration to her as wife.
At this situation, we parent are very much upset and we can't answer the question of neighbours and others and pathatic look. At this juncture we approached our Rev. Father (we are RC Christians) and my daughter explained all the details in writtten and submitted to him for his perusal for applying for divorce. Even 6 moths passed her mother-in-law, husband or sister came. Once they came putting all the above conditions. if it is ok, she can go there. Now she is working and earing Rs.10 t0 15 Thousands based on the incentives.
At this cititical situation, please pray for my daughter to come out from the problems and to get a God fearing son as her husband.
Once I explained the above facts over phone to Rev. Brother at Blossing Tody. He also adivsed to pray and praise the Lord Jesus, He will difinitely give a God fearing and affectionate son. We are praying daily to forgive our sins and bless my daughter and as per the verse of Jesus I hope He will place my daughter as a head not as a tail. Dear Brother, I am telling all these facts to you as my own son/brother. Please pray for my daughter Merly and send a reply.
