Prayer request for my aunt - Cancer diagnosis

Hello everyone, and thank God that you all care so much to pray for someone who you don't even know! Please pray for my aunt (Heidi) as she has just recently been diagnosed with a rare and extremely aggressive form of cancer. Surgery is scheduled for Monday. The sucess rate for this specific procedure is only 25%, but without it, she is only given weeks to live. Please pray that the surgery is successful and that she is able to make a full recovery. Also, please pray for God to comfort her three children during this rough time. My mom and I will be driving to Kansas from Alabama to help out with things at my aunt's house as soon as we are given the "go-ahead." Pray for our safety, as we will be driving straight through and spelling each other on the driving.

I’m sorry to know that your aunt has been diagnosed with cancer, Nathan. The Lord has reasons of His own for allowing such difficult circumstances to enter our lives, though we have no way of knowing what His purposes are in permitting this trial. But I'm certain that He cares for her and wants us to pray. I'll be praying for our Heavenly Father to touch Heidi with His healing hand and surround her with His peace and strength. May He give wisdom and guidance to the doctors and staff, too. Be assured of my prayers for your aunt's children, for you, and your mother, too.
