Beloved of All
Your honest prayer has been heard and I thank you for sharing it. I rejoice to hear you confess your sin and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That itself is the greatest miracle, for salvation is not something we achieve by effort or education. God opens blind eyes to see spiritual truth, and to pass from death to life is a work only He can do.
You asked for an open door for work and for financial help, and for justice regarding the abuse and opposition you have faced in your workplace and housing. I will pray for these needs with you.
The Bible shows that God is still a God of miracles. He fed a hundred men with a small gift of bread and there was food left over, He opened the eyes of a man born blind to prove His power, and He raised Lazarus after he had died and been buried. He is not limited by statistics or by human ability, and He is not restricted to special events or advertised moments. He works according to His own will and purpose, to confirm who He is and to draw people to Himself. So we can bring our needs for daily provision and for work to Him with confidence, asking Him to open the right door and to provide what you need, while also trusting His wisdom in how and when He answers. Pray for work, be faithful to seek it and to do it well, and trust Him to supply.
You also cried out for justice against those who have done wrong. That cry is understandable. Scripture says that truth can fall in the street and justice can stand far off, and that where judgment should prevail, in courts and in places of authority, it often fails. We cannot always be assured of justice from human systems, and when justice is perverted the foundations of any community are shaken. God sees this. He is a God of righteousness and justice and He desires justice to prevail. The cross shows both. The crucifixion was the greatest injustice, an innocent man condemned, yet through it the righteous demands of God's justice were satisfied because Jesus bore our sins in His own body. God did not ignore sin, He judged it in Christ so that sinners might be forgiven.
Because God is just, He also calls us to leave vengeance to Him. He will in time establish true justice on the earth and no wrong is hidden from Him. This does not mean we approve abuse of power by police or by those over a hostel or workplace. God sees oppression and misuse of authority, and gifts and spiritual language can also be misused when people act in ignorance. But our response is not to seek personal revenge against a team of enemies. We pray for God's righteous judgment, for protection, for truth to be revealed, and even for those who oppose us to come to repentance, while we walk honestly and entrust ourselves to Him who judges righteously.
The blood of Jesus shed on the cross is the power that breaks the hold of sin and evil. It does not function as a formula to destroy people, but as the means by which we are forgiven, cleansed, and set free, and by which the power of sin and darkness is defeated.
Let me pray for you. Father, thank You for this one who has confessed sin and trusted Jesus Christ for salvation. Wash away every sin by the blood of Jesus and give assurance of eternal life. I ask that You open a door for honest work and provide for every real need according to Your riches. Give wisdom, favor, and strength for each day. You see the hardship and abuse that has been suffered in the workplace and in housing, and any misuse of authority. Bring truth to light, restrain evil, protect from harm, and let Your justice prevail in Your perfect way and time. Guard this heart from bitterness and help it to trust You, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in truth. In the name of Jesus, amen.
