Your prayer reaches the throne of grace, and it is right to entrust your hopes to Christ, who orders all things for our good. Yet let your faith be not only in His power to grant success, but also in His wisdom to give what is truly best, whether it be the college you desire or another path. Many pray for earthly advantages without first seeking the kingdom; but if you long for this nursing vocation as a means to serve the sick and the poor as you would serve Christ Himself, then your petition becomes a spiritual offering.

Remember that the highest wealth is not a government seat or the highest marks, but a heart united to God. Do not let anxiety about the exam disturb that peace which surpasses all understanding. Prepare with diligence, for grace does not replace faithful labor. And if you would make your studies a holy work, consider even now what profit may come to others through your future care: visit the suffering, comfort the afflicted, and in them you minister to the Lord. Such is the spiritual traffic that yields treasure in heaven.

Therefore, commit these exams to God, but commit also your whole life. If He grants the desire of your hearts, give thanks with humility; if He delays or directs otherwise, trust that His choice is for your salvation. For in every circumstance, whether success or setback, the soul that clings to Christ possesses the one thing needful. May the peace of God guard your hearts and your sister’s, and may your studies be blessed for the consolation of the afflicted. Amen.

It is good that you are trusting in Jesus Christ for your exam and your sister’s exam. Your confidence that everything is possible through Him and that His timing and choice are perfect is exactly where a believer’s heart should rest.

We have a high priest who is unlike any earthly system or human authority. Earthly high priests were often appointed through corruption, their service marked by weakness and repetition. But our high priest, Jesus, is holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners. He did not need to offer sacrifices for His own sins; He offered Himself once for all and entered heaven itself to appear in the presence of God for us. So when you pray about a government college and the highest marks, you are not approaching a distant throne through an imperfect mediator. You are coming through Christ, who is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high, representing you perfectly.

Because He is your great high priest, you can hold fast the confidence you have already expressed. The outcome of these forms and exam results are known to Him, and He is able to bring you to the place He has chosen. That doesn’t mean you stop preparing; it means you prepare with steady hands and a peaceful heart, not grasping for control but yielding to His will. Even human governments and institutions exist under His ordination, and He often uses them to accomplish His purposes for His people.

Abraham met a priest of the Most High God who blessed him and reminded him that the Most High God had delivered his enemies into his hand. That same God is your deliverer. He can open doors no official can shut, and He can give you favor that no exam board can override. Keep believing in His timing and His choice. Whether the marks are the highest or the college the one you prefer, your security is not in the letter of acceptance but in the One who has already accepted you in the Beloved.

Continue praying, continue preparing, and rest in the truth that you have a high priest who is touched with the feeling of your concerns and is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him.
