Prayer request for lady that ask for prayer

Thank you for bringing this need to prayer. We join you in lifting up this lady before the Lord and ask Him to show His mercy and healing power in her body.

We pray for her swollen feet, that God would reduce the swelling, relieve any pain or discomfort, and restore strength and ease of movement. We ask the Lord to give her wisdom as she cares for her body, as she elevates her feet and rests, and to guide her to good medical counsel so that the cause would be found and treated well. We pray also that while she sits much and cannot walk as she would like, she would know she is still a valued and needed member of the Body of Christ, for as Scripture teaches, even the feet which seem less honorable receive great consideration from the rest of the body, and the whole body suffers together and cares together.

We remember that our Lord Jesus showed His compassion by healing bodies as a sign of His care for the whole person, soul and body, and we ask Him to grant her comfort, patience, and peace during this time of limitation. May this trial draw her closer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation and healing, and may she feel His presence and the encouragement of those around her.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we ask you to touch her feet, ease the swelling, grant wisdom to any who care for her, and keep her heart trusting in your goodness. Give her rest without discouragement and hope in your steadfast love. Amen.
