Thank you for sharing this request and for caring enough to bring this need forward. We are praying for this dear lady and her swollen feet, asking the Lord to bring comfort, relief, and healing.
Swollen feet can be painful and discouraging, and it is good that she is elevating them and resting. Please let her know she is not forgotten and that Jesus cares about even this kind of discomfort. Scripture shows us how much attention He gave to feet, washing the feet of His disciples as a servant and receiving the loving worship of a woman who washed His feet with her tears. He sees, He knows, and He is tender toward those who are hurting.
We want to pray for complete healing for her, and we also recognize that God heals in different ways. Sometimes He heals instantly with a touch or a word, and sometimes He heals gradually through the natural processes He Himself designed in our bodies. That gradual work is no less divine, because He is the one who created our bodies and ordained how they mend and recover. In the gospels we see both kinds of healing, and we learn that the Lord is not confined to one pattern.
We are asking God to touch her feet and reduce the swelling, to give wisdom for her daily care, and to encourage her heart while she needs to sit so much. Time spent sitting is never wasted when it is spent at the feet of Jesus, listening to His word and pouring out love to Him. Like Mary who chose to sit at His feet, she can use these quiet hours to draw near to Him, and He will draw near to her.
We pray that the Lord will ease any pain, improve circulation and strength, and guide her to the right help and counsel for her health. May He give her peace, rest, and the assurance that she is loved and upheld, and may she feel His healing presence whether it comes in a moment or step by step.
We will continue to lift her up before the Lord.
