Good and Faithful Servant
Praise the Lord! Your mercy endures forever and Your faithfulness to all generations! May Angeline and her family rest in this knowledge today. This day started in joy and ended in sorrow, yet You remain the same loving God today and tomorrow. Though at present they may not have answers and their hearts are filled with grief, may Angeline and her family never waiver in their trust in You and Your love for them.
Help them to sort through the next few days focusing on the blessing this man was in their lives and remembering all that was good and cherished in knowing him. Help the family to comfort one another, to draw upon each other's strength, to hold up those who are weak. Bring good out of this tragedy, blessings even out of the events to take place this week. Let Your name be glorified and Your children be the recipients of that inner peace that is straight from heaven, passing all human understanding. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
