We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for justice and righteousness in the workplace. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice, and Your Word declares in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." Yet we also know that when those in authority abuse their power, You do not turn a blind eye. Proverbs 29:2 warns, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Lord Jesus, we boldly ask You to remove those who are using their positions to force others into sin and lawlessness. Your Word is clear in Proverbs 17:15, "He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord." We pray that You would expose their deeds, bring their actions to light, and remove them from positions where they can harm others. Let Your justice roll like a river, and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).
We rebuke the spirit of corruption and manipulation in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that the wicked will not go unpunished (Proverbs 11:21). Father, we ask that You raise up godly leaders in their place—men and women who fear You, who walk in integrity, and who use their authority to serve and protect rather than exploit.
Lord, we also pray for those who have been forced to participate in these illegal acts. Give them courage to stand firm in their faith, to resist evil, and to trust in You for protection. Remind them of Your words in Matthew 10:28, "Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." Strengthen them to do what is right, even when it is difficult, and assure them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We trust in Your perfect justice, Lord, and we ask that You would bring about Your will in this situation. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
