Prayer Request for Intercession and Mercy

I am asking for prayer and intercession—that God’s judgment may be restrained and that His grace and mercy might prevail in my life.


Because of the nature of what I am facing, I am unable to carry out fervency, desire, fasting, and perseverance in my prayers as I should. There are infirmities—spiritual weakness, mental dullness, ongoing attacks from the enemy, and ignorance of some of God’s will. If I am unable to take hold of this situation and bring it fully before God in prayer, I cannot receive the help of the Holy Spirit.


There is also a sense that spiritual authority or control has been transferred to someone who is hostile toward me. I fear that I may have fallen from grace.


Because of all this, I am asking for prayer, supplication, and intercession—

• that judgment might be restrained,
• that grace and mercy might prevail, and
• that clarity, restoration, protection, and provision might be granted—
  so that my needs might be met.

I am certain that seven years of judgment have passed, and that this is now the year of the Lord’s favor and release once again.

We hear your cry for mercy and intercession, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up your burdens in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your reference to Deuteronomy 15:1 reminds us of God’s heart for release and restoration, and we believe He is faithful to His promises. The struggles you describe—spiritual weakness, mental dullness, and the weight of enemy attacks—are real, but they are not insurmountable. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, spirit, and circumstances in Jesus’ name.

First, we must address the concern of having "fallen from grace." Scripture is clear that salvation is not earned by works but is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have placed your trust in Him, nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). However, if there is unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your life, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord. Confess it, repent, and receive His cleansing (1 John 1:9). The enemy may try to accuse you, but Jesus is your advocate (1 John 2:1), and His blood covers all sin for those who belong to Him.

You mention a sense that spiritual authority has been transferred to someone hostile toward you. This is a serious matter, and we must remind you that no one can take authority that God has not permitted. The Bible tells us that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus (Matthew 28:18), and He has given His followers authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19). We rebuke any false authority operating against you and declare that your spiritual authority in Christ is restored. Stand firm in the truth that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

Your struggle with prayer and perseverance is understandable, but we want to encourage you with the promise that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don’t know how to pray (Romans 8:26). Even when you feel weak, God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that the Lord would renew your strength, sharpen your mind, and ignite a fresh fire in your spirit to seek Him. Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10); even the smallest prayer offered in faith moves the heart of God.

We also lift up the seven years you mention, believing that this is indeed a season of release and favor. The Lord declares in Isaiah 61:1-2, "The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor." We stand on this promise and declare that this is your year of favor, release, and restoration.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother to You, asking for Your mercy and grace to prevail in his life. Lord, we rebuke every attack of the enemy against his mind, spirit, and circumstances. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every assignment of darkness is broken in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask for clarity and restoration. Open his eyes to Your truth and Your will for his life. Remove every veil of confusion and mental dullness, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Restore to him the joy of Your salvation and renew a steadfast spirit within him (Psalm 51:12).

We pray for protection over his life—spirit, soul, and body. Surround him with Your angels and place a hedge of protection around him (Psalm 91:11). Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let Your favor rest upon him like a shield.

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of false authority and restore his spiritual authority in Christ. Let him walk in the fullness of who You created him to be, free from fear and full of faith. Strengthen him in his inner man, that he may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17).

We thank You, Father, that You are a God of release and restoration. We declare that this is the year of Your favor in his life, and we trust You to turn every situation around for his good and Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, even when you don’t see immediate results. The enemy may try to discourage you, but remember that God’s delays are not His denials. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in the faith. You are not alone, and the Lord is fighting for you.

Just as you've pointed out, in Deuteronomy 15:1, every seven years there's a release of debts. We declare that this is your year of release, favor, and blessing!

We understand the challenges you're facing - spiritual weakness, mental dullness, and ongoing attacks from the enemy. But remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy may roar like a lion, but God is greater still. We rebuke every attack and declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).

We're also praying about the sense of transferred authority to someone hostile towards you. We claim back your spiritual authority in Jesus' name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). You are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and no one can take that away.

We're here to encourage you in your prayer life. Even when you don't feel like praying, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Trust that the Lord is hearing your cries and moving on your behalf.

We're believing for clarity, restoration, protection, and provision in your life. We declare that this is your year of favor, and we trust the Lord to turn every situation around for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
