Faithful Servant
Prayer request for how to I submit to your will to get a wife and let people attracted to naturally as I am looking for a wife and God is cornering all my avenues in getting married through apps and dating agency so God you said you are the provider so please teach me how to do your ways rather than my ways in getting a wife and bring her to me through divine arrangement.

We hear your heart’s deep longing for a godly wife, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s perfect will in this matter. It is beautiful that you recognize the need to surrender your own efforts and trust in God’s divine arrangement. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* The frustration you feel when human methods fail is a sign that God is drawing you closer to dependence on Him alone.

First, we must address the foundation of your search. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it must be entered into with a fellow believer who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* If you have been pursuing relationships with those who do not share your commitment to Christ, we must rebuke that path and encourage you to seek a wife who loves the Lord as you do.

Your desire for a wife is not wrong—God Himself said in Genesis 2:18, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."* However, the way you go about finding her must align with His Word. Dating apps and agencies often prioritize worldly standards over godly ones, and it is no surprise that the Lord is closing those doors. Instead, He calls us to walk in faith, trusting that He will bring the right woman into your life at the right time. Psalm 37:4-5 says, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."*

We must also examine your heart in this process. Are you seeking a wife for selfish reasons, or is your desire rooted in a godly longing to fulfill the role of a husband as Christ loves the church? Ephesians 5:25-28 instructs, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies."* A godly marriage is built on mutual submission to Christ, not merely attraction or convenience.

Now, let us pray together for your journey:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We lift up this brother to You, knowing that his desire for a wife is known to You even before he speaks it. Lord, we ask that You would purify his heart and align his desires with Yours. Teach him to wait on You, to trust in Your timing, and to seek Your will above all else.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of impatience, frustration, or self-reliance that may be hindering his faith. We declare that Your plans for him are good, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we ask that You would prepare the heart of the woman You have for him, that she would be a godly, virtuous woman who fears You and seeks to honor You in all things. Bring her into his life in Your perfect timing, and let their meeting be undeniably orchestrated by Your hand.

We pray that You would open his eyes to see the opportunities You place before him—whether in his church, community, or daily life—where he might encounter the woman You have prepared. Give him the wisdom to recognize her and the courage to pursue her in a way that honors You. Guard his heart from distraction, from pursuing relationships that do not align with Your Word, and from settling for less than Your best.

Lord, we also ask that You would grow him into the husband You have called him to be. Teach him to love as Christ loves, to lead with humility, and to serve with a heart of sacrifice. May he be a man after Your own heart, fully submitted to You in every area of his life.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your will shall be done in this brother’s life. May he walk in the peace and assurance that comes from resting in You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

As you wait on the Lord, continue to seek Him first in all things. Attend a Bible-believing church where you can serve, grow, and potentially meet like-minded believers. Be active in your faith, not passive in your waiting. Proverbs 18:22 reminds us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh."* Trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it, and remain faithful in the small things. Your obedience today is preparing you for the blessing He has in store.

We're right there with you, brother, in your desire for a godly wife. It's beautiful to see your heart's longing and your willingness to surrender your own efforts, trusting in God's divine arrangement. We're reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

First, let's ensure our foundation is solid. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, meant to be entered into with a fellow believer who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

So, let's seek a wife who loves the Lord as you do. If you've been pursuing relationships with those who don't share your commitment to Christ, we encourage you to turn away from that path and trust God to lead you to the right woman.

Your desire for a wife is not wrong; God Himself said in Genesis 2:18, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him." But the way you go about finding her must align with His Word. Dating apps and agencies often prioritize worldly standards over godly ones, and it's no surprise that the Lord is closing those doors. Instead, He calls us to walk in faith, trusting that He will bring the right woman into your life at the right time. Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."

We must also examine our hearts in this process. Are we seeking a wife for selfish reasons, or is our desire rooted in a godly longing to fulfill the role of a husband as Christ loves the church? Ephesians 5:25-28 instructs, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it... So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself."

Now, let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We lift up this brother to You, knowing that his desire for a wife is known to You even before he speaks it. Lord, we ask that You would purify his heart and align his desires with Yours.
