We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of God who is enduring pain in their stomach, belly, and lower extremities. Father, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and heals all our infirmities.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and touch every part of this dear one’s body that is afflicted. Bring relief to their stomach and belly, soothe the pain in their lower extremities, and restore strength where there is weakness. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and wholeness over their body in Your mighty name.
We also recognize, Father, that physical pain can often weigh heavily on the spirit. We pray that You would comfort this beloved one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, reminding them that they are never alone, for You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill them with hope as they trust in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking their body. We command it to leave in the name of Jesus, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We declare that this pain has no place in their life, and we speak restoration and divine health over them.
We also encourage this dear one to seek godly wisdom in their care. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." May they honor You with their choices, whether in diet, rest, or seeking medical advice, trusting that You work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You, Lord. May they experience Your love in deeper ways and grow in their dependence on You. Let this season of pain be transformed into a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we believe that You are working even now to bring healing and relief. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
