Prayer request for getting good health

In these days I may be living in the valley of death because I am not able to sleep in the night because of Satan attacks and evil spirit attacks and so kindly pray that God will fully resolve this problem fast. Kindly also pray that daily I will be able to do all my works quickly because I am unable to do this because I am attacked by ghosts and evil spirits and maybe because of other problems.

We join with you in prayer and we hear the deep distress in your request, feeling as though you are living in the valley of death and unable to sleep or do your daily work because of attacks from Satan and evil spirits. We want you to know that God sees your struggle and He is near to you in this dark valley, and we bring your need for good health, peaceful sleep, and strength for each day before His throne together in Jesus' name.

The Bible tells us that our struggle is real, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also take comfort that the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you need not fear evil, for God is with you Psalm 23:4. He is the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps as He keeps you Psalm 121:4, and He promises, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety Psalm 4:8.

We want to gently correct and encourage you, for fear and the sense of being overwhelmed by ghosts and evil spirits can make us forget the authority we have in Christ. When we belong to Jesus, we are called to be subject therefore to God, and to resist the devil, and he will flee from us James 4:7, and to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. This means turning from fear to faith, filling your mind and your room with the Word of God, with prayer and worship, and crying out in the name of Jesus, for there is power in that name alone. We noticed your request asked for God to help but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and believing that He died and rose again for you, and to use His name boldly when you pray for protection and deliverance.

We also encourage you not to face this alone. Continue to pray and read Scripture daily, especially before sleep, and speak the promises of God out loud over your life. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. If sleeplessness and inability to do your work continue, we encourage you also to seek wise counsel from a trusted pastor and, for your health, from a medical professional, while trusting that God is your ultimate healer and protector, for He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the torment at night, the lack of sleep, the fear of evil spirits, and the weakness in the body that makes daily work so hard. We ask in Jesus' name that You rebuke every attack of Satan and every evil spirit that seeks to oppress, and we command in the name of Jesus that they must flee. Fill this place with Your holy presence and Your peace. Grant good health, restore strength to body and mind, and grant the gift of peaceful sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved. Help our friend to lie down in peace and sleep, knowing You alone make us dwell in safety. Give clarity and energy to do daily work diligently and quickly for Your glory, and replace all fear with Your power, love and self-control. Draw this dear one close to Jesus, assure them of salvation and authority in Christ, and let them feel Your hand upholding them through this valley. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and deliverer, amen.

We hear how exhausting this season has been for you, lying awake night after night and then trying to get through the work of the day with so little rest. Feeling like you are in a valley is a heavy place to be, and we want you to know we are praying for you with care.

Lack of sleep touches everything, our ability to think clearly, to work, and to sense God's peace. It makes sense that daily tasks feel so much harder right now. We are asking God to bring you relief and steady, restful sleep again, and strength for each day's responsibilities.

It can help to invite a couple of trusted people into this with you. If you have a pastor or a mature believer you trust, consider sharing with them how you have been sleeping and how work has been affected so they can pray with you in person and stay close to you. Alongside prayer, it is also wise to talk with a medical professional about the trouble sleeping, so they can listen and help you find support.

We are holding you before the Lord now.

Father, we lift our brother to You and ask for Your protection and peace over his nights and days. Quiet what is troubling him, guard his mind and heart, and grant him deep, restoring sleep. Give him strength and clarity for his daily work and lead him to caring help around him. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

Your heavy burden has been brought before the Lord and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf, for you write that you walk as in the valley of death, broken in sleep and sore pressed by fear of Satan and evil spirits, and hindered in your daily work.

Be assured that your affliction is not unknown to Him who sits as a Refiner by the furnace. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself permits and overrules all for His wise and gracious ends. It is well to have grace enough to see that even the bitter cup is filled by a Father's hand. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, and this makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. For this reason we may wisely moderate our fear of second causes. Whether affliction comes distinctly from man or from the malice of the enemy, it comes with greater certainty from the Lord, and is under His perfect control. No ghost nor evil spirit can pass beyond the boundary that He has set.

And here is your comfort, that deliverance is of the Lord and by Divine power alone. When any man is saved from spiritual bondage, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has taught us that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. Satan shoots his arrows and they are often poisoned and painful, and some of us have been wounded by them scores of times, but God has found a ransom. Then He is gracious unto him and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. The King's own Son has borne the penalty of all our iniquities, and God has given commandment to save you, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, for God has said it, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has provided it freely in Christ Jesus, who has delivered us from the power of darkness.

We pray now for you, that the Lord in His mercy would keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing, that He would grant you quiet sleep and restore to you good health and strength of body and mind. We ask that He would rebuke every assault of the enemy, and cause you to know that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, that you may lie down in peace and sleep, for so He gives His beloved sleep. We pray that He would enable you day by day to do the works that are given you to do with quickness and cheerfulness, and that you may be able to say with the Psalmist, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

Look then to Jesus alone, who is your ransom and your deliverer. Store your mind with His knowledge and His glory, seek to know the Lord Jesus, cry to Him in the night watches, and rest in His finished work. He who has delivered will yet deliver, and He will not suffer you to be tried above that you are able. May the Lord grant you to prove His faithful keeping, and to live to tell others of the great deliverance He has wrought for you.

Your request has been heard and we have lifted you up in prayer before the Lord, asking for His mercy and help in this heavy season.

You describe walking through the valley of death, unable to sleep at night because of fear of Satan and evil spirits, and unable to do your daily work. That is a heavy burden, and it is right to bring it to God. The Scripture says, I will fear no evil for You are with me, and also, Return unto your rest O my soul for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you, and, You are my refuge from the affliction which surrounds me. These are good words to pray in the night when fear rises.

Know this, Jesus Christ has authority over every evil spirit. He not only casts out devils but makes all the power of the enemy useless, and no ghost or spirit has power over those who belong to Him. The apostle Paul was kept awake in prison for a purpose, and Peter was kept in sleep for a purpose, and in both cases God was present and in control. The Lord sometimes allows a trial to continue for a time, as He came to His disciples in the fourth watch of the night, teaching them not to seek hasty deliverance but to bear what comes with courage while He draws near. He will come at the right hour, and He will not leave you without help.

We have prayed that God will grant you good health, restore your sleep, and deliver you fully and quickly from fear and every attack. We have also prayed that you will be able to do your daily work with strength and a clear mind. As it is written, the Lord delivered me from the lion's mouth and He will deliver me from every evil work. That same Lord is able to keep you, to guard your mind and body through the night, and to give you peace.

Shake off the heavy sleep of fear and worry by turning to Christ in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with faithful believers. In the night when you cannot sleep, pray aloud in the name of Jesus, read the Psalms, and ask Him to guard your heart. If sleeplessness and distress continue, seek help also from a trusted pastor and from a doctor who can care for your body, for God cares for the whole person.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this Your servant. You see the sleepless nights and the fear that weighs on the heart. Grant good health, quiet the mind, give peaceful sleep, and drive away all fear and every work of the enemy. Fill this heart with Your presence, so that there is no room for dread. Give strength each day to do the work You have given to do, with a clear and steady mind. Keep this soul in Your refuge and let Your peace guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Continue to call upon the Lord, trust in Christ alone for salvation and protection, and keep bringing these needs before Him each day. He hears, He is near, and He is able to deliver.

Thank you for sharing your burden so honestly. We are praying for you and asking God to bring you health, peaceful sleep, and strength for each day.

You described feeling as if you are walking through the valley of death, unable to sleep and unable to do your daily work because of fear and attacks from the enemy. The Scripture speaks directly to that feeling. David wrote that even though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death he would fear no evil, because the Lord was with him. The cure for fear is remembering the Lord and His presence with you. When our eyes are fixed on the threats around us, fear grows. When our eyes are fixed on the Lord, faith grows. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time, and the enemy often uses fear to paralyze and discourage. Remembering that God is on His throne and that He is with you is what quiets the heart. The Bible also says that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

The Scriptures teach that the beginning of wisdom is the reverence of God, and to reverence God is to hate evil. We live in a time when many have become tolerant of evil, but evil always seeks to be tolerated and to draw us into compromise. God hates evil, and if we are to walk in close fellowship with Him we must also hate evil and turn away from it. That turning away is not just an idea. The instruction is simple, do not be wise in your own eyes, reverence the Lord and depart from evil. The promise connected to that is that it will bring health to your body and strength to your bones. To depart from evil means to make a clear break with anything that invites darkness, to keep your life clean before the Lord, to speak truth and not deceit, to seek what is good and pursue peace.

God has also shown that He has authority over every evil spirit. Jesus gave His disciples power over unclean spirits, and that power is still in His name today. Through prayer and trust in Jesus, evil spirits must leave when commanded in His name. You do not need to live under torment in the night. The Lord is able to protect you as you sleep and to guard your mind and body.

We are praying that God will lift this heavy oppression from you quickly, that He will give you deep and undisturbed sleep, and that He will restore your health and your ability to do your daily work with clarity and energy. We pray that fear will be replaced with faith as you keep your eyes on Jesus, that you will grow in reverence for the Lord and in a settled hatred for evil, and that you will walk in the health and peace that come from walking closely with Him.

May the Lord redeem and keep you, may He make His presence known to you night and day, and may He fill your home with His peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone has power to save, to heal, and to deliver.

We pray that you will know His presence even in the valley of the shadow of death as promised in Psalm 23:4, and that you will stand firm knowing that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world as it is written in 1 John 4:4. We pray in Jesus Name that every attack of the enemy would be rebuked and that God would fill you with power and a sound mind and surround you with His protection.
