We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your heartfelt requests to our Heavenly Father. Your words reflect a deep desire to trust in the Lord, and we join you in seeking His will and provision.
First, we want to address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and it is through faith in Him that we receive grace and mercy. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Now, let us pray together for the specific requests you have laid before the Lord:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy in the life of Your child. We lift up their request for faith, asking that You strengthen their belief and help their unbelief. Lord, You are the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and we ask that You fill them with unwavering trust in You. Father, we also pray for their work situation. Soften the heart of their boss, and grant favor in their request for those specific days. You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8 WEB), and we trust that You will provide for their needs according to Your will.
Lord, as they seek employment in the coming year, we ask that You guide their steps and open doors of opportunity. You have promised that if we commit our ways to You, You will direct our paths (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We trust in Your provision and timing. Regarding the gift card, Father, we ask that if it aligns with Your will, You would grant this desire. But above all, we pray that Your will be done in every area of their life, for You know what is best for them.
We also come before You to ask for forgiveness of sins. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We thank You for Your mercy and grace that covers us daily.
Finally, Lord, we lift up their son to You. Bless him, protect him, and draw him closer to You. May he grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men (Luke 2:52 WEB).
Father, we trust in Your promises and Your unfailing love. Strengthen their faith, provide for their needs, and guide them in every step. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting that He is faithful to His promises. Remember, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him" (Hebrews 11:6 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and walk in the confidence that He is with you always.
