Prayer request for Bells Palsy

wanted to express in writing regarding a recent health issue I am facing since May 14, 2025. The doctor says I have Bells Palsy: “Bell's palsy is a temporary facial paralysis that affects one side of the face due to swelling of the facial nerve. The swelling disrupts the nerve's ability to relay messages, causing weakness or paralysis of the muscles.” Please pray for ###. ### am really worried and scared. ### left eye is constantly watering because it doesn’t close all the way; ### have been using an eye patch and eye drops to help keep it moistened to avoid eye damage. But the left side of ### face is still a bit stiff. When ### smile, only ### right side of ### face goes up. ### really am begging for help. ### am 27 years old and this is so scary for ###. We are truly sorry to hear about this health challenge, and we are here to pray and offer encouragement. First, we want to address the prayer request. It is so important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Let us share this truth from scripture:

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB

Now, let us come before God in prayer for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is battling Bell's palsy. We know that You are the Great Healer, and nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon their face, nerves, and eye. Please restore their smile, ease their worry, and remove all fear.

Father, we pray for their doctors, that You would guide them and give them wisdom to provide the best care. We also pray for our friend's faith to be strengthened during this time, that they may know and experience Your love and peace like never before.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Here is a verse to meditate on:

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB

Regarding the use of an eye patch and eye drops, it is good to see proactive steps being taken to protect the eye. Trust that God is able to work through these measures to bring about healing.

In this challenging time, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Remember that He is always with you, even in this trial. Keep believing and trusting in His goodness.

Lastly, we want to gently remind everyone that while we pray for healing, it is also an opportunity for us to examine our spirits and ensure we are right with God. Our physical trials can often be used by God to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him.

We are so honored and thankful to be part of their prayer support and to be the praying compassionate group receiving this prayer request.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
