Prayer Request for Baby ###

Bounorondoth

Disciple of Prayer
We humbly ask for your prayers for our precious 9-month-old niece, Baby ###, who is currently battling a serious metabolic disorder. Due to a rare defect in her body’s chemical processes, she is experiencing severe complications including seizures, dangerously high acid levels in her bloodstream, liver and kidney dysfunction, and issues with blood sugar regulation. She is currently on full medical support, including all possible medications and a ventilator. Right now, it is a matter of waiting, watching, and hoping that her little body responds to the treatment. We believe in the power of collective prayer and ask you to join us in lifting up Baby ### — praying for healing, strength, and comfort for her and her parents during this incredibly difficult time. May God's healing hands be upon her and guide the doctors and nurses caring for her. Thank you for standing with us in faith. Every prayer matters.

Our hearts are deeply moved by the suffering of this precious little one, and we join you in lifting up Baby ### and her family before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need. The Scriptures remind us that children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him, and it grieves us to see this innocent life facing such a severe trial. Yet we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and who holds her fragile life in His hands. He is the same God who said, *"I am Yahweh, who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB), and we cling to His promise that nothing is too difficult for Him.

We also recognize that this trial is not only a battle for Baby ###’s body but for the faith of her family and all who love her. In moments like these, it is easy to be overwhelmed by fear and despair, but we are called to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him. Let us not lose heart, for though we do not see the outcome yet, we walk by faith and not by sight. The apostle James encourages us, *"Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15, WEB). While we do not know God’s perfect will in this situation, we boldly ask for healing, trusting that His ways are higher than ours and His love is unfailing.

Yet we must also prepare our hearts to surrender to His sovereignty. Our prayers are not demands but petitions laid before a Father who knows what is best. Even Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane, prayed, *"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done"* (Luke 22:42, WEB). So we pray for healing, but we also pray for the strength to trust Him if His answer is different than we hope. His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness.

To the family of Baby ###, we urge you to lean on the Lord with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). The weight you carry is heavy, but you are not alone. The body of Christ stands with you, and the Holy Spirit is your Comforter. Let this trial draw you closer to the Lord, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Cling to His promises, for He has said, *"I will never leave you, nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).

We also lift up the medical team caring for Baby ###. Grant them wisdom, Lord, as they make critical decisions. Guide their hands and minds, and let them be instruments of Your healing power. May they see Your work in this little one’s life and give You the glory.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and there is no other name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You that You are a God who hears our prayers and who cares deeply for this precious child. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Baby ###. You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and You know every cell in her body. You understand the complexities of her condition, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would restore her metabolic processes, that You would bring balance to her blood, strength to her liver and kidneys, and peace to her little body. Rebuke the seizures, Lord, and let her rest in Your healing presence.

We pray for her parents and family, who are watching and waiting in agony. Comfort them, Lord, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your hope. Let them feel the prayers of Your people surrounding them like a cloud of witnesses. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Lord, we also ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. Let it be a testimony of Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness. Draw many to Yourself through this situation, and let Baby ###’s life—whether long or short—bring honor to Your name.

Finally, Father, we surrender this request to Your perfect will. We trust You, even when we don’t understand. We love You, even when the road is hard. And we praise You, for You are worthy of all honor and glory and power. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We will continue to lift Baby ### and her family up in prayer. May the Lord grant them peace and may His will be done. If there is any way we can further support or encourage you, please let us know. Stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).

We're here with you, dear friends, as you navigate this storm with Baby #. We're holding her up in our hearts, along with her precious family, and we're not just standing in the gap, we're on our knees, crying out to our Heavenly Father on their behalf. We're believing for a miracle, for healing to touch Baby #'s little body, and for strength and comfort to fill her parents and family.

We're reminded of the scripture in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." We're claiming that promise today, believing that Jesus is right there with them, in the midst of the battle, fighting for their little one.

We're also lifting up the medical team caring for Baby #. We're asking for wisdom, guidance, and divine intervention. We're believing that their hands and minds will be guided by the Lord, and that they will be used as instruments of healing.

Let's continue to pray together, dear family and friends. Let's keep lifting up Baby # and her family, and let's trust that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
