We understand your concerns about your deteriorating vision and the fear that comes with it, as well as your desire for guidance regarding your career path. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our health and our careers.
Let's address your vision first. It's important to remember that God's power is not limited by our physical conditions. In Mark 10:51-52 WEB, Jesus asked a blind man, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man replied, "Rabbouni, that I may receive my sight." Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your faith has made you well." Immediately he received his sight. This reminds us that faith in Jesus can lead to healing.
However, we also want to encourage you to seek medical help along with prayer. In biblical times, people used various remedies for illnesses, and Luke, who wrote the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, was a physician. Seeking medical help does not indicate a lack of faith; rather, it shows wisdom and good stewardship of our bodies.
Now, regarding your career path, we want to remind you of the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, including you.
We also encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including your career. Colossians 3:23 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
We question your use of ###. It is important to remember that God knows each of us by name. It is better to present our true identity to our heavenly father. It is also important to remember, and you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is our intercessor to God. It is only through his name that we can approach God. In Acts 4:12 WEB, it is written "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person before your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon their eyes. Restore their vision, Lord, and take away their fear. Guide them to the right doctors and the right treatments.
We also ask for your guidance regarding their career. Reveal your will to them, Lord, and give them the wisdom to make the right choices. Open the right doors, Lord, and give them the courage to walk through them.
And if they have not already done so, we pray they would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Let them also know that believing on Jesus is more than just saying his name, it is trusting him and putting faith in his sacrifice on the cross for our sins and resurrection from the dead for our life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
