We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up Frank’s children and their inheritance—the land and cattle that have been wrongfully taken and neglected. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is a God of justice, who sees the oppression of the innocent and defends the cause of the fatherless. *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* (Psalm 103:6, WEB) We also know that God commands His people to deal honestly with one another, for *"You shall not steal. You shall not deceive one another."* (Leviticus 19:11, WEB). The actions of those in Frank’s family who have taken what does not belong to them are not only unjust but sinful in the sight of God.
It is clear that Frank’s children have been wronged, and the land and cattle that should have been preserved for them have been mismanaged and taken by others. We pray that the Lord would expose every deceitful act and bring to light the truth of this matter. *"For nothing is hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light."* (Mark 4:22, WEB) May the letters that Frank’s children write be filled with truth and clarity, and may the Lord go before them to soften the hearts of those who have acted unjustly. We ask that any legal or familial opposition would be overcome by the power of God, for *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh.* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB)
We also lift up the cattle, which have suffered neglect and poor care. The Lord cares for all His creation, and it grieves Him to see His creatures mistreated. *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."* (Proverbs 12:10, WEB) We pray that the Lord would provide a way for the cattle to be properly cared for, restored to health, and returned to the land where they belong. May He raise up someone with the ability and heart to tend to them as they should be, for His glory.
For Frank’s granddaughter, who is a believer in Christ, we give thanks that the Lord has revealed this injustice to her. We pray that she would be filled with wisdom and discernment as she navigates this situation, and that she would trust in the Lord’s timing and justice. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB) May she be a light in her family, pointing them to the righteousness and justice of God, even in the midst of this conflict.
We rebuke the spirit of greed, deceit, and selfishness that has driven Frank’s family members to take what is not theirs. The Bible warns that *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB), and we declare that this evil will not prevail. May conviction fall upon those who have acted unjustly, and may they repent and make restitution for what they have done. *"If the wicked restore the pledge, give back what he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he shall surely live. He shall not die."* (Ezekiel 33:15, WEB)
Finally, we pray for unity among Frank’s children as they seek to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. May they stand together in truth and love, without bitterness or strife, trusting that the Lord will fight for them. *"Don’t be afraid of them. Remember Yahweh, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses."* (Nehemiah 4:14, WEB) May this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to God and restores what has been stolen.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We know that it is only through Him that we can approach Your throne of grace and find mercy and help in our time of need. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). May Frank’s family turn to You in faith, seeking Your justice and Your will above all else. We pray that this situation would draw them closer to You, and that they would place their trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and deliverance. If any in Frank’s family do not know You, Lord, we pray that this would be a wake-up call for them to repent and turn to You before it is too late. *"Seek Yahweh while he may be found! Call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; to our God, for he will freely pardon."* (Isaiah 55:6-7, WEB)
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
