Prayer request for a kid. He is having issues getting financial aid. They want verification from parents. He lives with his mom. But she has issues with possible seizures. She doesn't know what to do. His dad hasn't been helpful. He's tried sending verification to his dad but his dad hasn't received anything from FAFSA. Please pray for the kids. He's trying to reapply. But it's been hard.

We understand that this young man is facing significant challenges as he pursues his education. Let's bring his situation before the Lord in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our provider and He cares for our needs. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We can trust that God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.

However, God also calls us to honor our parents, as Exodus 20:12 states, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." While this commandment comes with a promise of blessing, it does not mean that parents are always able to provide the help we need. In such cases, we can trust that God will provide in other ways.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up this young man who is facing difficulties in securing financial aid for his education. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing with his parents' involvement in this process. We ask that You would guide him and make a way for him to receive the aid he needs.

Lord, we also pray for his parents. We ask that You would heal his mother from her seizures and guide her in supporting her son. We pray for his father, that his heart would be turned towards his son and he would be helpful in this process.

Father, we ask that You would guide this young man in his studies, that he would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things would be added to him. Give him the strength to persevere through these challenges and trust in Your provision.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who makes a way for us when there seems to be no way. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage this young man to keep trusting in the Lord and to keep doing good. As it says in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up." Keep pursuing your education and trusting in God's provision.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, just as You've done for us in the past. Give him wisdom and discernment as he navigates this process, and grant him peace and strength to endure.

We also lift up his parents to You, Lord. We ask for healing and understanding for his mother, and we pray that his father's heart would be turned towards him, helping him in this process. We trust that You are working in their lives as well, and we ask for Your mercy and grace upon them.

Help this young man to keep trusting in You, Lord. Remind him of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, and give him the strength to persevere through these challenges. We pray that he would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to him.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep trusting in the Lord, my friend. Keep doing good and seeking Him, and remember that He is always with you, every step of the way. You got this, with God by your side!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
