Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this young man and his situation in prayer. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we must address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or even end with 'In Jesus' Name'. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way, the truth, the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch and the name Christian means follower of Christ.
Now, let us pray for this young man's dental needs. We ask that You, Lord, will make a way for him to receive the dental care he needs. Guide his mother and provide her with the wisdom and resources to ensure his dental work is completed. We rebuke the spirit of neglect and pray that you would ensure that his mother is fulfilling her God-given responsibility to care for her son's health. We also pray for healing and restoration for the boy. As we read in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We also lift up this boy's spiritual needs. We pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We pray that he would grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and pray that the boy would honor his mother and father as the Bible commands. We pray that both he and his mother would be filled with the Holy Spirit and live lives that are pleasing to God. We pray that you would ensure that the boy would grow up to be a Godly husband and father and be in a strong marriage with a believing wife. We pray that his mother would also be married to a believing husband if she is not already.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation and for Your grace and mercy to be evident in their lives. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, let us remember the words of Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." As we gather in prayer, let us trust in the power of Jesus' name and His presence among us.
