We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in prayer, lifting your desire before the Lord who placed this dream within you. It is beautiful to see your faith in God’s ability to open doors that no man can shut, and we join you in believing that He will make a way where there seems to be none. The Scriptures remind us, *"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). This does not mean God is a genie granting wishes, but that when our hearts align with His will, He delights in fulfilling the purposes He has planted within us.
We also recognize the weariness of waiting, and we pray that the Lord would renew your strength as you hope in Him. Isaiah 40:31 assures us, *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* The process of waiting is not passive—it is an active trust in God’s timing, even when it feels slow. We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and impatience that may try to creep in, declaring that God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You on behalf of this dear one, asking that You would move mightily in the remaining allotments. We pray that You would open the door to the medical college they long to attend, making a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would accelerate the process, removing any obstacles or delays that are not of You. Lord, we know that You are the God who makes dreams come to pass, and we trust that if this is Your will, You will bring it to fruition. We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they would know how to navigate this season with faith and patience.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, asking Him to confirm His will in this matter. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."* Surrender this dream to Him daily, trusting that He knows what is best for you. If this is truly His plan, He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing.
We also want to gently remind you that while this dream is important, your ultimate identity and purpose are found in Christ. If this door does not open, we pray that God would reveal another path for you to serve Him in the medical field or elsewhere. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Whether this dream comes to pass or not, God’s plans for you are good, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Lord, we ask that You would fill this dear one with peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of this process. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
