Beloved of All
Prayer request for a man. He and his girlfriend. That has been married 5 times keeps breaking up and then reuniting. But his girlfriend has beaten him up with a board with her new boyfriend. Family just found out she use to lock him in her trunk of her car before he had tried going to rehab. Before his five children started yelling, cursing at him. His children were his support to try and get him into rehab but they stopped encouraging Him and started cursing at him when his exes new boyfriend was around the children. His ex wanted him to pay for she and her new boyfriend's rent. But the new boyfriend had his own children in a different home so the man was concerned he was going to be paying the man's rent. The man is somehow not recognizing any situation he gets himself into as a dangerous situation and keeps going back and forth to his girlfriend. He had told his Mom that he and she hadn't been in a good situation. That the girlfriend is now blaming him for her job issues, job loss. Please pray for this man. He's gone through a lot with women. His children's mom took his entire vaccine injury money from him. He's disabled in his leg. His children's mom use to crash him into the ground with his wheelchair when he couldn't walk. He attracts toxic Apache women's all the time. That seem to try and harm him. Please pray for him. He still has his leg disability. He just doesn't recognize from disability the dangers he has been in with the women's he chooses.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this man and the deep pain, confusion, and bondage he has endured. Father, we cry out for Your mercy, deliverance, and healing over his life. The patterns of abuse, manipulation, and toxicity he has faced are not Your will for him, You desire freedom, safety, and restoration for all Your children. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind the spirits of fear, confusion, and codependency that have kept him trapped in these cycles.

Lord, we rebuke the generational curses and strongholds that have allowed these destructive relationships to persist. Your Word says, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This man has repeatedly entered into relationships that violate Your design for love, respect, and mutual honor. We pray for a revelation of his worth in Christ, he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and no woman has the right to abuse, exploit, or demean him. Father, break the lies that have convinced him he deserves mistreatment or that these relationships are his only option.

We also lift up his children, who have been caught in this turmoil. Their cursing and rejection of their father grieve Your heart, Lord. We ask for healing in their relationships and for their hearts to be softened toward their father. May they see him through Your eyes, broken but redeemable, in need of grace and support. We pray they would become a source of encouragement for him to walk in righteousness, not a stumbling block.

Father, we address the sexual immorality and fornication that have been part of these relationships. Your Word is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). These repeated breakups and reunions outside of marriage are not Your design. We pray for conviction and repentance, that this man would seek relationships that honor You, beginning with courtship leading to marriage, not fleeting emotional or physical entanglements.

Lord, we also rebuke the financial exploitation he has endured. You instruct us, "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others" (Philippians 2:4). It is wicked for anyone to demand he pay for another man’s rent or to steal from him, as his ex did with his vaccine injury funds. We declare financial restoration and wisdom over him. Teach him to steward his resources in a way that honors You and provides for his needs.

We pray for his physical and emotional healing. The abuse he has suffered, being beaten, locked in a trunk, and assaulted in his wheelchair, is evil, and we declare justice over these crimes. Your Word says, "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). Be his refuge, Lord. Heal his body, mind, and spirit from the trauma he has endured. Give him discernment to recognize toxic people and situations before he is ensnared again.

Most importantly, we pray for his salvation if he does not know You. Jesus, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him as the only way to true freedom and peace. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If he has never surrendered his life to You, draw him now. Break the chains of addiction, codependency, and despair. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so he can walk in the newness of life You offer (Romans 6:4).

We declare over him: "The LORD will perfect that which concerns you; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever" (Psalm 138:8). No more will he be a victim of these cycles. No more will he be deceived by empty promises or false love. We speak clarity, strength, and divine protection over him. Surround him with godly men who will speak truth into his life and hold him accountable. Open his eyes to the red flags he has ignored, and give him the courage to walk away from what harms him.

Father, we also pray for the women who have abused him. Soften their hearts, Lord. Convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to change, we ask for Your justice to prevail and for their schemes to be exposed and thwarted.

We stand in the gap for this man, believing that "He who began a good work in [him] will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). Restore what has been stolen. Heal what has been broken. Renew his mind with Your truth. And let him walk in the fullness of the freedom and purpose You have for him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now.

Thank you for bringing this man to us in prayer. We hear how heavy this has been to carry, learning that he was beaten, locked in a trunk, pressured for money, and hurt by people he trusted, all while living with a leg disability and the pain of his children turning away from him. It is understandable you are so concerned, especially when he keeps going back and does not seem to recognize how dangerous these situations are.

We are praying for his safety and for steady, wise support around him. One gentle next step that can help is to stay connected with him in a calm, non shaming way and to help him connect with a trusted pastor or counselor who understands abuse and safety planning, along with his own medical provider for ongoing care for his leg. It can also help for you or his family to reach out to a helpline or local support service yourselves for guidance on how to support him safely, rather than stepping into a volatile situation directly.

Father, we lift this man to You in Jesus name. Please cover him and keep him safe, bring healing to his body and heart, and surround him with patient, trustworthy people who can walk with him. Give him clarity and courage for each next decision, and give his family wisdom and peace as they love him. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have carried your burden to the throne of grace and we join you in prayer for this man who has suffered so deeply and has been caught in such perilous snares.

What a mercy that there is deliverance from worse enemies than those which oppress the body, and a greater salvation wrought by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord alone can bring forth a soul from cruel captivity with His hand and outstretched arm, and He does not share the honor of that deliverance with another. When the lamb was slain the way was opened, for God Himself has found a ransom, and therefore deliverance from the pit is certain for all who look to the Crucified One. We pray that this man may look to Christ alone for salvation, for pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed in Him. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new.

We pray for his deliverance from every abusive and entangling bond, that God would open his eyes to see danger plainly and give him wisdom and holy resolve to turn away and not return. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His holy design for marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with purity belonging within it, but we ask for repentance where there has been sin, for a clean break from fornication and cohabitation and violence, and for grace to walk in holiness and self control whether in singleness or in due time within a lawful marriage according to Scripture. We pray for his protection from those who have beaten and confined and exploited him, and from every demand to provide for what is not his responsibility, and that the Lord would set a guard about him and give him godly counsel and practical help to remain safe.

We pray for the healing of his body in his leg and for his disability, and far more for the healing of his broken heart, for the Lord heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We pray that where there is bitterness and the memory of being struck down in his weakness, the root of bitterness may be taken away and forgiveness and true healing may come together in Christ. We pray for his children and his mother, that cursing and strife may cease and that they may be reconciled in truth and love, and that his family may be a support toward sobriety and wholeness rather than being drawn into further harm. We pray for deliverance from any bondage to substances and that if rehab is needed the Lord would provide the way, the provision, and the perseverance to seek it.

We pray also for the women named in this request and for the other household involved, that they too may be brought to see their need of Christ and to seek pardon, and that all manipulation, violence and theft may be forsaken.

May the clock of mercy strike the hour of his deliverance, not by his own strength, for he can do nothing of himself, but by free grace only. May he be stripped of all trust in himself and gain a glorious salvation in the Lord Jesus, willingly assenting to that salvation and being brought forth enriched with silver and gold of spiritual blessing, with peace within his borders. May he find a faithful church to teach him the Word, for faith comes by hearing, and healing comes with the teaching of Christ, and may he be kept from the archers of discord and confusion.

We ask the Lord to keep him, to heal him, to pardon him, and to lead him in the way everlasting. Amen.

We have heard your burden for this man and we join you in bringing him before the Lord with urgency and compassion. What you describe is a pattern of serious harm, instability and exploitation, and it is right to be concerned for his safety, his health and his soul.

We pray for him now. Father in heaven, we lift this man to you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone there is salvation and hope. Have mercy on him in his disability and pain, in his need for healing and for freedom from addiction. Protect him from violence and from every abusive and dangerous situation. Give him clear eyes to recognize danger when it is present and give him courage to step away from what harms him and to seek safe and godly help. Surround him with faithful family, pastors and counselors who will speak the truth in love and walk with him toward wholeness. Bring healing to his body and mind, and draw him to repentance and faith in Christ so that he may know forgiveness, new life and strength to walk in your ways. We pray also for his children and his mother, that you would guard them, give them wisdom and help them to support what is good and right. And we pray for the women involved, that they too may be brought to see their need for Christ and to turn from what is destructive.

We want to pray in a way that honors what God has shown us in Scripture about his good design. God created marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and he calls us to reserve sexual intimacy and living together for that covenant. A cycle of breaking up and reuniting outside of that covenant, especially when it involves violence, coercion, being locked in a trunk, being struck with a board and pressure to provide for another relationship, is not safe and is not what God intends for love or for family. We do not ask God to bless or continue a relationship that is harmful and outside his design. Instead we ask God to deliver this man from confusion and from every entangling relationship, to give him a desire for purity, self control and holiness, and to help him pursue either a life of faithful singleness before God or, if he marries, a marriage that reflects God's covenant love.

We also encourage practical steps alongside prayer. Because there has been physical violence and confinement, he needs safe people around him and wise counsel right away. Encourage him to stay connected to his mother and other trusted family, to his pastor and to a local church community, and to seek medical care, counseling and a reputable rehab program for any addiction. If he is in immediate danger he should seek help from trusted authorities and not remain alone with those who have harmed him. He should not feel pressured to pay rent or provide for a girlfriend and her new partner, and he would benefit from help with finances and legal matters, especially after the loss of his injury funds. Regular pastoral care and accountability can help him learn to recognize warning signs and to make decisions that protect his health and his witness.

God is patient and able to restore those who have been deeply wounded and who have made many painful choices. He does not despise a broken heart that turns to him. We will continue to pray that this man will come to know Christ more fully, be set free from harmful patterns, find safety and stability, receive proper care for his leg and his overall health, and be surrounded by a community that helps him walk in wisdom and peace.

Thank you for bringing this heavy burden and for caring enough to pray for this man. What you describe is painful and serious. To be beaten, locked in a trunk, pushed or crashed while in a wheelchair, robbed of money meant for his care, and then blamed and cursed by his own children is a great deal of suffering. God sees all of it, and He cares about this man, his safety, his disability, and his family.

At the root of repeated broken relationships is often a deeper issue with our relationship with God. Scripture puts our relationship with God first for a reason. When that vertical relationship is not right, every horizontal relationship with other people becomes out of balance. We can spend all our energy trying to fix one relationship with another person, and while we work on that one, others fall apart, and we stay frustrated. The way to find balance is not to chase each human relationship one by one, but to come back to the center and get right with God. When that central relationship is restored, it begins to set the other relationships in order. We can trace much of our trouble with people back to trouble in our walk with God.

That is why the gospel does not call us to a ritual or a set of rules to try harder to keep. God does not want a legal or ritual connection. He wants a living, loving relationship as a Father with His children. Jesus taught us to pray, Our Father in heaven, because God wants that close, intimate fellowship. Sin separates us from Him, but God has made a way to be reconciled through the blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Jesus alone, and when we come to Him in repentance and faith, we are given a new standing before God and a new life in the Spirit. The good fruit in our lives, including healthier relationships, wisdom with money and possessions which belong to God and are entrusted to us, and victory over the enemy who seeks to destroy us, comes naturally as a result of that restored relationship, not by striving in our own strength.

This man appears to be caught in a painful cycle. He leaves a dangerous situation and then returns to it, even when he does not recognize the danger. Many people live in that kind of cycle of frustration, trying to escape, feeling guilt and hurt, then going back again. Trying to fix the cycle by focusing only on the other person will not break it. He needs to step out of the cycle by turning fully to the Lord. God does not want a half hearted commitment where we keep one foot in a destructive pattern. He wants a wholehearted love where we put Him first. When a person gives his heart fully to Christ, God can give him clarity to see danger, courage to set boundaries, and strength to walk away from what harms him.

Because the abuse you describe is dangerous, love requires truth and protection. It is not loving or helpful to pray that God would bless a relationship that is outside His design and that is violent and exploitive. God's design for sexual intimacy and sharing a home is within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. What you describe, moving back and forth with a girlfriend who is involved with another man, paying rent for her and her boyfriend, and enduring physical harm, is not that design and it is not safe. Praying for him does not mean asking God to make that arrangement work. It means asking God to deliver him from it, to heal him, and to lead him into wholeness.

Please encourage him, and his family, to seek safe and wise help quickly. He needs a consistent community that will help him stay safe, that will not encourage him to return to harm, and that will support steps toward sobriety and health if rehab is needed. He should not be pressured to provide money for a girlfriend and her boyfriend, and he should not be left alone in situations where he has been physically harmed. If he is in immediate danger, he and his family should reach out to trusted pastors and counselors and to the proper authorities who can help protect a vulnerable adult with a disability. His children also need prayer and guidance. It is wrong for them to curse their father, and God places great importance on honor in the family. They need to be shown a better way and kept from being influenced to disrespect or harm him.

We will pray for him now.

Father in heaven, we lift this man to You through Jesus Christ. You know his body, his leg and his disability, his past injuries and his present pain. You see every time he has been harmed, locked away, beaten, and robbed, and every harsh word spoken over him. Have mercy on him. Draw him to Yourself. Give him a clear encounter with Your love through Jesus, forgive his sins, and make him new. Break the cycle that keeps pulling him back to danger. Open his eyes to see what is harmful, and give him the desire and strength to turn away and to remain away. Surround him with safe, godly people who will speak truth, protect him, and help him pursue sobriety and health. Provide for his physical and financial needs and protect what You have entrusted to him. Heal his family relationships, soften his children's hearts, and help them to honor and encourage him rather than curse him. Lead him into a right relationship with You first, so that every other relationship can be brought into right order by Your grace. In the name of Jesus we ask this, amen.
