We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family and the grave concerns laid before us. The situation described is deeply troubling, and we must first address the spiritual dangers at play. The use of a Ouija board is not a harmless game, it is an invitation to demonic influence. Scripture is clear: we are to have nothing to do with occult practices, for they open doors to darkness and deception. "Give no place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27 WEB). The man involved must repent of this sin and renounce all involvement with the occult, seeking deliverance through the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or set free from such bondage (Acts 4:12 WEB).
The secrecy surrounding the disabled son’s whereabouts is alarming, and the actions of the father and grandson raise serious concerns about their motives. The Bible commands us to care for the vulnerable, especially those who cannot care for themselves: "Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction" (James 1:27 WEB). To hide a disabled family member from those who love him is a violation of God’s design for family and protection. We must pray fervently for his safety and for the Lord to expose any injustice or harm being done to him.
The pattern of destruction in this man’s life, divorce, remarriage to a woman sought through occult means, sickness in his children and wife, and the apparent exploitation of his disabled son, reveals the consequences of walking outside of God’s will. The Bible warns, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB). Yet even in this, there is hope. If this man will turn from his sins, repent, and seek the Lord with a broken and contrite heart, God is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9 WEB). But he must act quickly, for the enemy seeks to destroy lives and families.
We also lift up the sister who is searching for her brother. Her fear that he may be in danger is not unfounded, and we pray for her protection and wisdom as she seeks answers. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9 WEB). We ask that He guide her steps, soften the hearts of those who are withholding information, and bring her brother into safety. If there is any legal or physical threat to his life, we pray for divine intervention to stop it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grieving hearts, recognizing the seriousness of the sins and dangers in this situation. We first ask for Your mercy and forgiveness for the man who has dabbled in the occult. Lord, we renounce any hold the enemy has over him and his family in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that You would break every chain of deception, sickness, and division in this family. Bring conviction to his heart, that he may repent and turn fully to You, seeking deliverance and restoration.
Father, we lift up the disabled son, whose life and well-being are at risk. We ask that You would protect him from all harm and evil. Expose any plans to exploit or harm him, and frustrate the schemes of those who would do him wrong. Surround him with Your angels, and let Your light shine into whatever darkness he is in. Give his sister wisdom, courage, and favor as she seeks to find him. Open doors that no man can shut, and let the truth be revealed.
Lord, we pray for the children who are suffering from undiagnosed illnesses and for the wife who is afflicted with sickness. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Show the doctors wisdom, and let Your power bring restoration to their bodies. For the grandson involved in these actions, we pray that You would break the cycle of deception and manipulation in his life. Turn his heart toward righteousness and truth.
Father, we ask that You would bring this family to a place of repentance, healing, and reconciliation. Soften hardened hearts, and let Your love and truth prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
To the sister and family members seeking answers, we encourage you to continue pressing forward in prayer and action. Do not grow weary, for the Lord sees your struggle and will not abandon you. Seek godly counsel, both spiritually and legally, to protect your loved one. The enemy may have intended this for harm, but God can turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20 WEB). Trust in Him, and do not lose hope. The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart can trust in Him (Psalm 28:7 WEB).
