Disciple of Prayer
For The LORD of Hosts to guard the heart of my precious friend, ###, for it is written: “The horse and chariot are prepared for the day of battle, but the [ultimate] victory belongs to The LORD.” [Proverbs 21:31] And that The Holy Spirit would lead His beloved son into all truth, especially concerning his true identity and unique calling in Christ, and help ### to delight himself in The LORD, that He may give His faithful and true servant, by the empowerment of The Holy Spirit, the petitions of his heart. That Jehovah Rapha would heal His beloved son, ###, from every wound, yea, even his deepest [most hidden] wounds that have been afflicted against his own soul [mind, will, and emotions] since the moment he was conceived in his mother’s womb. Standing upon El Shaddai’s [The LORD GOD Almighty] promise on behalf of His precious children, written in Isaiah 53:5: “For The LORD Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Calling upon Jehovah Go’el to restore His beloved son ###’s entire soul [mind, will, and emotions], guiding him in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake, as promised in Psalm 23:3. For although his father and his mother may have forsaken him, yet The LORD will take him up and adopt him as His beloved, precious and honored child [Psalm 27:10]. And that The Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation nor shadow of turning, and from whom every good and perfect gift originates, would do such a great and mighty work in His beloved son and faithful servant, ###, in Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit, that he would be a walking miracle and a living testimony that truly: “With man this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible,” as promised by our Heavenly Father in Matthew 19:26. That ultimately the promise written in 2 Corinthians 1:4 would be fulfilled in the life of His beloved son, ###, because our Heavenly Father is the One: “Who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by GOD the Father.” May The Father of Lights comfort, restore, and strengthen ###, so that the comfort he himself receives from GOD will also become a Holy Spirit inspired and honoring source of comfort to many especially to the outcasts, the prodigals and the brokenhearted of our entire generation. That GOD Most High would receive all the glory and the honor for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do in, through, and with His beloved son and faithful servant, ###, in Christ Jesus by the power of The Holy Spirit. For Yours, O LORD our GOD, is the kingdom, the glory, the honor, and the power, forever and ever. In Jesus precious and mighty name AMEN 🕊️

We join you in lifting up your precious friend before the throne of grace and we are deeply encouraged by the faith and scriptural grounding with which you have interceded for him.

We agree with you that the Lord would guard his heart with all diligence, for as it is written in Proverbs 4:23, Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. We pray that the Lord of Hosts would be his defender and his strong tower, and we stand with you on the truth of Proverbs 21:31, The horse is prepared for the day of battle; but victory is with Yahweh. The battle belongs to the Lord and we trust Him to be his victory.

We also pray that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, would lead him into all truth as Jesus promised in John 16:13, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. We ask that the Father would reveal to him his true identity as a beloved son in Christ, chosen and adopted, and his unique calling, and that he would learn to delight himself in the Lord. We cling to the promise of Psalm 37:4, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, and James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, nor shadow of turning.

We join you in calling upon Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, to heal him from every wound, even the deepest and most hidden wounds afflicted against his soul, his mind, will and emotions, from the moment he was conceived in his mother's womb. We stand on Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. We pray for complete restoration of his soul and we claim Psalm 23:3 over him, He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. We thank God that even when father and mother may forsake, the Lord takes us up and adopts us as His own, as promised in Psalm 27:10, When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up.

We pray that God would do such a mighty work in him by the power of the Holy Spirit that his life would be a walking miracle and a living testimony to the truth of Matthew 19:26, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. And we agree with you for the fulfillment of 2 Corinthians 1:4 in his life, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God, so that the comfort he receives from the Father will overflow to many, especially to the outcasts, the prodigals and the brokenhearted of this generation.

Father, in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we lift this beloved son to You. Guard his heart, heal his deepest wounds, restore his soul, establish his identity in Christ, guide him into all truth and fulfill Your perfect purpose in him. Let every chain be broken and every hidden hurt be healed by the stripes of Jesus. Fill him with Your peace, strengthen him by Your Spirit, and make his life a testimony that brings glory and honor to You alone, for Yours is the kingdom, the glory, the honor and the power forever and ever. We thank You for what You have done, what You are doing, and what You will do in, through and with him in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We were moved reading how faithfully you are lifting up ### before the Lord. The care with which you have brought his heart, his identity and calling, and those deep, hidden wounds to the Father shows how much you love him, and we are honored to join you in praying for him.

What stayed with us is that you are not only asking for healing from past hurt but for him to know who he is in Christ and to walk in the purpose God has for him. That kind of renewal is often a steady, gentle work over time, as a person comes to experience safety, truth and belonging in daily life with God and with others. It is not a quick fix, but a process where the Holy Spirit brings comfort and restores the whole person at a pace that is kind and sustainable, often best lived out in consistent community.

A simple way to keep supporting him is to continue as you are in steady prayer, and as he is willing, to encourage him toward ongoing fellowship where he can be known and supported. That might be regular worship, a small trusted group, or an unhurried conversation with a pastor who can walk with him over time, always with his consent and at his own pace.

Father, we lift ### to you now. Guard his heart, heal what is wounded in his soul, and make your love and fatherhood deeply real to him. Lead him into truth about who he is in Christ, strengthen him to delight in you, and guide him in the paths you have for him. Comfort and restore him, and in your timing use the comfort he receives to bring comfort to others. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Your prayer on behalf of your friend has been brought before the Lord and it is a good and right thing to stand in the gap for another soul. There is a deep of human misery and ruin which no words can fully express, and there are wounds of the soul, of mind and will and emotions, that have been carried from earliest days. Yet over against that deep there is a deeper still, the deep of Divine Grace. Deep calls unto deep, and the deep of predestination and providence answers to the deep of affliction to magnify the name of God. The Eternal Spirit has deigned to dwell in the hearts of His people, quickening death into life and filling the thirsty soul with rivers of grace.

We join you in asking the Lord of Hosts to guard the heart of your friend, for though the horse and chariot are prepared for the day of battle, the ultimate victory belongs to the Lord as it is written in Proverbs 21:31. We ask that the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth, would guide him into a true knowledge of his identity and calling in Christ, and teach him to delight himself in the Lord.

For healing we look not to ourselves but to Christ alone. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. His wounds are our weapons and our refuge, and mark, they are healed wounds. By His stripes we are healed, as Isaiah 53:5 declares, for the plowers made deep furrows not upon the sinner but upon the sinner's Substitute. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, so that not only His fruit but even His leaves are for healing. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and those healing leaves change the life blood and keep the soul of the believer in perpetual health till the glory life begins. If the sinner does but come to Jesus and put forth faith to touch the hem of His garment, he shall find no stint in that healing power. Pardon and healing are one, for when sin is forgiven the soul diseases receive their deathblow by the same Cross which brings atonement.

We pray also for perfect restoration as promised in Psalm 23:3, that the Lord as Shepherd would restore his soul and guide him in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Though father and mother may forsake, the Lord will take him up, for He has said He will receive those who come back to Him. He rejoices over the poor soul that returns, and He can give back early joy so that the restored one shall praise Him every day. If there has been wandering or backsliding, we remember Peter, who was down but was soon up again by a look from the Lord. That same look of love can pierce the heart today and draw the wounded soul into secret communion where the Lord Himself draws out the arrow.

We ask the Father of Lights, from whom every good and perfect gift comes and with whom there is no variation nor shadow of turning, to do a mighty work in him so that he shall be a living testimony that with man this is impossible but with God all things are possible according to Matthew 19:26. And we pray that the promise of 2 Corinthians 1:4 would be fulfilled, that the God who comforts us in all our affliction would so comfort and strengthen him that the comfort he receives from God would become a holy and Spirit wrought comfort to many others, especially to the outcasts, the prodigals and the brokenhearted of this generation.

May the Lord preserve him from all evil and preserve his soul, and may all glory and honor and power be unto Him forever for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will yet do in Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. We leave your friend in the hands of the great Physician who says, I will heal you of your wounds, trusting Him with personal faith which alone brings peace to the soul. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in lifting your friend before the Lord and thank you for bringing him to prayer with such faith and love. Your petitions are good and we add our amen to them according to the Scriptures you have cited.

We pray that the Lord of Hosts would guard his heart, for as you quoted, the horse is prepared for the day of battle but victory belongs to the Lord. We ask that God would set a watch over his mind, will and emotions, and that His grace would touch the very soul and pluck up sin and wounding by the root, making him pure and whole as one newly formed by Christ.

We pray that the Holy Spirit, who is given to lead us into all truth, would guide him into a clear knowledge of who he is in Christ. We ask that he would find his true identity not in his wounds or his past or the voices of this world, but as a beloved son of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. May he learn to delight himself in the Lord and to meditate on His word day and night, counting all other things secondary to hearing and obeying the voice of God, and may the Lord in His mercy grant the holy desires of a heart so ordered.

We bring before Jehovah Rapha every wound of his soul, even those hidden wounds carried since he was conceived. We pray for the healing that comes by the stripes of Christ, who was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, that the chastisement that brought us peace would now bring peace to him. As a physician dresses wounds, so we ask the Lord to dress and heal his sores, not only to ease pain but to make the soul strong and whole again.

We call upon our Good Shepherd to restore his soul and to lead him in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Where father and mother may have forsaken him, we pray he would know in a deep and abiding way that the Lord takes him up and adopts him as His own honored child, and that the Father of Lights, who does not change, would give every good and perfect gift needed for his restoration.

We pray that God would do a work in him that is clearly beyond human power, so that his life becomes a living testimony that with man this is impossible but with God all things are possible. And we pray that the God of all comfort, who comforts us in affliction, would so comfort and strengthen him that the comfort he receives would overflow to others, especially to the outcasts, the prodigals and the brokenhearted of this generation.

We pray above all that he would walk in newness of life, putting to death whatever in the flesh rises against the soul, and walking by the Spirit in holiness and purity, for the Spirit desires to dwell continually in the righteous and to make them fit for every good work. May God receive all glory and honor for what He has done and will do in and through His servant.

We entrust your friend to the Lord's keeping and ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
