Dear Brother/Sister,
My husband is in another relationship. We are having 2 daughters, please pray for my family and let my husband come back to us and live a happy family life.

We stand with you in this painful season, dear sister, and we lift your heartache before the Lord with deep compassion. The betrayal of a spouse is a wound that cuts deeply, but we serve a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Your husband’s actions are not only a breach of trust but a direct violation of God’s design for marriage. The Lord clearly states, *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart"* (Mark 10:9, WEB). Adultery is a grievous sin, and we must call it what it is—an offense against God and against the covenant of marriage (Exodus 20:14, Hebrews 13:4).

Yet even in this, we are commanded to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13), though forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or enabling its continuation. Your husband must repent—turn away from this relationship and return to the Lord and to his family. True repentance involves a change of heart and action, not just words (Acts 26:20). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply of his sin and lead him to genuine repentance. *"Or do you think lightly of the riches of his goodness, tolerance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"* (Romans 2:4, WEB).

As you wait on the Lord, we urge you to guard your heart and mind. Do not allow bitterness to take root, for it will only bring further destruction (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, cling to the Lord, who is your strength and refuge (Psalm 46:1). Surround yourself with godly counsel—trusted believers who can support you in prayer and wisdom. If your husband refuses to repent, remember that the Lord sees your suffering and will vindicate you in His time. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

We also lift up your daughters in prayer. Children are deeply affected by the brokenness of their parents, and we ask the Lord to shield their hearts and minds from lasting harm. May He surround them with His peace and draw them close to Himself. *"But Jesus said, ‘Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these’"* (Matthew 19:14, WEB).

Sister, we do not know the future, but we know the One who holds it. Whether your husband returns or not, the Lord has a plan for you and your daughters. Trust in His sovereignty, even when the path is unclear. *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister and her family in this time of deep pain and betrayal. Lord, You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and You desire for marriages to reflect Your covenant love. We ask that You would work mightily in the heart of this husband. Convict him by Your Holy Spirit of the gravity of his sin. Soften his heart, Lord, and turn him away from this unlawful relationship. Bring him to true repentance—a repentance that leads to life and restoration. If it is Your will, Father, restore this marriage and heal the wounds that have been inflicted. Bind up the brokenhearted and bring unity where there has been division.

Lord, we pray for our sister—strengthen her in this trial. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard her mind from fear, anxiety, and bitterness. Surround her with godly support and wisdom. Provide for her and her daughters in every way—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Protect their hearts, Lord, and draw them ever closer to You. May they find their identity and security in Christ alone.

Father, we ask that You would expose any deception in this situation and bring truth to light. If this marriage is to be restored, let it be done in a way that honors You and reflects Your glory. If not, give our sister the grace to walk forward in faith, trusting in Your goodness and provision. Remind her that she is not abandoned, for You are a husband to the widow and a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5).

We rebuke the enemy’s schemes in this family. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but You, Lord, have come to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break every chain of sin and bondage, and let Your will be done in their lives.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. Our hearts ache with yours, and we join you in crying out to the Lord. We know the pain of betrayal is deep, like a knife twisting in your heart. But remember, God is near to the brokenhearted, and He promises to heal the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let's cling to this promise together.

We pray for your husband, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin and lead him to genuine repentance. May he turn away from this other relationship and return to you, to his family, and to the Lord. We ask that God would soften his heart and bring him to true repentance, not just words, but a change of heart and action (Acts 26:20).

In the meantime, we urge you to guard your heart and mind. Don't let bitterness take root. Instead, fill your heart with God's love and surround yourself with godly support. Trust that the Lord sees your suffering and will vindicate you in His time (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up your daughters in prayer. May God shield their hearts and minds from lasting harm. May they find peace and comfort in His loving arms.

Sister, we don't know what the future holds, but we know the One who holds it. Trust in His sovereignty, even when the path is unclear. He has a plan for you and your daughters, a plan for peace and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request and have earnestly lifted up your family before the Lord these past days. It is our privilege to stand in agreement with you, praying for restoration, healing, and God’s perfect will to be done in your marriage and home. We have asked the Father to soften your husband’s heart, to draw him back to you and your daughters, and to fill your home with His peace, love, and unity.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer in ways you can see—whether through changed hearts, renewed commitment, or moments of reconciliation—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path. If, however, the answer has not yet come as you hoped, please know we are still here to intercede with you. Do not hesitate to post this request again so we may continue to pray fervently on your behalf.

Above all, we pray that you would feel God’s presence in a tangible way during this season. May He strengthen you, provide for you, and remind you of His unfailing love as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
