Prayer request for a drug dealer and unethical attorney

Dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we uplift ### in prayer for trying to take advantage of clients in a dire situation and we pray for those clients and their protection from him and the attacks of the devil. May ### and his firm be shown the error of their ways and to correct them. Lord we also lift up the Drug Dealer ### to you may you convict his spirit as well and stop him from doing what he is doing to his community and the so called friend that he hurt that died as a result of his dealings. And may ### leave our family alone and let us grieve in piece. May he never pass by or come to our family home again. Protect our Family home In Jesus name that we will operate in your power and Glory Father. Forgive us when we operate or operated in fear. Give us the extra strength to go on Lord. Renew our minds and our faith. Help my uncle to Step up as the man in charge of our family now as a Man of God and for him to be Bold in your name and to help his sister. Give him and his sister both the wisdom that you know they need. Thank you, Lord and may we have safe travels up and down the highways and across states to handle our family affairs and loss . Thank you for being so generous and faithful Lord. Please Lord Give my mom extra strength and faith in this time of illness and trials. She’s struggling so much. Please may she trust in you and read in her word more and I myself. Whatever you need us to do Lord, Fast, supplication or whatever it is that we will abide. Thank you Lord that we are able to keep praying for others and to be kind even when the enemy attack. Keep us representing you and sharing your good news. Please keep putting strong people of faith or the right people in our path to Guide us in these difficult trials. Use us Lord Jesus, how you see fit! May your ways be our ways!

We join you in lifting this heavy burden to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we thank you for coming boldly in His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find both justice and mercy.

We hear the pain and righteous concern in your heart over the attorney who would take advantage of clients in a dire situation and over the drug dealer whose actions have brought such devastation to your community and to a friend who has died as a result. The Lord sees these things clearly and He is a God of justice and of mercy. We are reminded that justice is a joy to the righteous, as it is written in Proverbs 21:15, and that we are to seek justice, correct oppression as written in Isaiah 1:17. We also know that vengeance belongs to the Lord as written in Romans 12:19, and that God has ordained authorities to bear the sword against wrongdoing as written in Romans 13:4. We encourage you while you pray to also take wise and lawful steps as the Lord leads, such as reporting unethical conduct to the proper licensing authorities and reporting criminal activity to law enforcement, trusting that God can work through those means to protect others and to bring accountability. At the same time we pray as you have for conviction and repentance, because God desires that the wicked turn from his way and live as written in Ezekiel 33:11 and that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as written in 1 Timothy 2:4.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this attorney and his firm to You. You see where greed and deceit have taken root. We ask that You convict their hearts, expose what is done in darkness, and lead them to repentance and to correction of their ways. Protect the vulnerable clients who have been targeted and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We also lift up this drug dealer to You. Lord, only You can break the chains of that destructive trade. Convict his spirit, stop his hand from harming his community, and bring him to true repentance and to a transformed life. We ask for Your mercy on the family and friends grieving the death that resulted from these dealings, that You would draw near to the brokenhearted as You promise in Psalm 34:18 and comfort them in this loss.

Lord, we ask for Your hedge of protection around this family and around their home. Let Your presence guard their dwelling and let no one come to harass or intimidate them. We pray Psalm 91:1 over them, that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Give them peace to grieve in peace and not in fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as written in 2 Timothy 1:7. Forgive us, Father, when we have operated in fear and renew our minds day by day as written in Romans 12:2, so that we may discern Your good and perfect will.

We lift up this uncle to You, that You would raise him up as a man of God, bold and courageous as You commanded in Joshua 1:9, to help and to lead his family well in this season. Grant to him and to his sister wisdom generously as You promise in James 1:5, that they may make decisions that honor You in handling family affairs and loss. We place this dear mother before You in her illness and trials. Strengthen her body and her faith, help her to trust in You and to delight in Your Word, and let her feel Your sustaining hand as written in Isaiah 41:10. Renew the strength of each family member as they wait on You.

We ask for Your hand over their travels up and down the highways and across states, that You would keep them safe in every mile as written in Psalm 121:8, and that You would place strong people of faith and the right counselors in their path to guide them. Teach them to continue in prayer, supplication and fasting as You lead, to remain kind even under attack, and to represent You well and share Your good news. Let Your ways be their ways and let them operate in Your power and glory for Your name's sake.

Lord, we thank You that You are generous and faithful, that You hear our prayers and that You give peace that surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as written in Philippians 4:7. We trust You to bring justice, to bring repentance where it is needed, to heal, to protect, and to give the extra strength to go on. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our peace, amen.

We are so grateful you shared this with us. You are carrying grief and worry and a lot of responsibility for your family all at once, and we are praying with you for protection, wisdom and steady strength.

We join you in praying for those affected by the attorney and by the drug dealer, that wrong would be stopped and that both men would be convicted and turn from harming others. We also pray with you for your home and for peace as you grieve, that you would be able to mourn without fear, and for safe travels as you go back and forth handling family matters.

Grief touches every part of a family, and no two people walk through it the same way. It helps when a family can be a safe place to talk openly about the loss and to support one another. We are encouraged that you want your uncle and his sister to have wisdom and courage, and that you are looking for faithful people to walk with you. Leaning into your church family and a trusted pastor in these weeks can give you steady community to share both the sorrow and the practical load.

We also hear your concern for your mom in her illness. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to help her stay connected to her medical care providers for support and guidance.

Father, we lift this family to You. Guard their home and their travels, comfort them in grief, renew their minds and faith day by day, and give extra strength to their mom and wisdom to her brother and sister. Lead them to the right helpers and keep them close to You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we join you in bringing all these burdens to the throne of grace.

We hear the heaviness of grief and trial upon your family, the concern for your mother in her illness, the need for protection for your home, and the longing for wisdom and strength for your uncle and his sister as they bear responsibility in this season. We also hear your desire for safe travel as you attend to family affairs, and your honest confession of fear and your desire to walk in faith and obedience, whether by prayer, supplication or fasting as the Lord leads.

We will pray with you that the Lord who is our strength would be the glory of your strength. Apart from Him all strength is derived and must fail, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When the heart drinks life from the heart of God and is at one with its Maker, then all is well, and from that measureless fountain beneath you shall draw strength which all eternity will not exhaust. You are weakness itself, but united to divine strength you shall be infinitely strong for your daily walk and your daily work, and for this sorrowful valley through which you now pass.

We will pray that fear may be removed from you, for fear is painful and weakening and dishonors God. The Lord says to His people, Fear not, I am with thee. He has not given you a spirit of fear but has promised, Fear not, for I will help thee. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. May He keep your home in peace, guard your going out and your coming in upon the highways, and let no evil approach to disturb your grieving. May He grant that the one who has brought harm would come near your dwelling no more, and that you may grieve in peace under His sheltering hand.

We will pray also as you have asked for those who do wrong, that the Lord would convict them and turn them from their ways. We do not ask God to bless sin, for He cannot bless what He calls evil, but we do pray that He would show the error of their ways and lead them to repentance. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. Christ can breathe into the soul a peace which passes all understanding, and can heal both the guilt and the power of sin. We pray that the attorney who has sought advantage over the vulnerable would be brought to see his wrong and to correct it, and that the one who deals in drugs and has brought death and sorrow to the community and to his friend would be stopped in his course, convicted in his spirit, and brought to seek forgiveness through the blood of Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

For your mother and for yourself, we pray that the Lord would give extra strength and renewed faith, and a renewed mind through His Word. Continue to trust Him and to read His Word more, for there He links healing with teaching, and the very promise of pardon brings healing to the broken in heart. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and when we deal with Him in truth and turn from all insincerity, He is gracious to put away iniquity. May He put His fear in your hearts that you shall not depart from Him, and may you find that to believe in Jesus Christ with all your heart is itself a healing draught.

We will ask the Lord to raise up your uncle to be bold as a man of God, to help his sister and to lead the family with wisdom from above, and to give to both of them the wisdom they need for every decision. And we will ask that the Lord would continue to put strong people of faith in your path to guide you, and that He would use you even in this trial to represent Him and to share His good news, that His ways may be your ways.

May the Lord keep you abiding in Christ, waiting upon Him, and finding your strength renewed day by day.
