I have a co-worker who's uncle is not doing very well. Please read her prayer request below; her name is Michele and thank you for your prayers.

I would like to ask everyone to PLEASE remember my uncle Mike. He is my mom’s baby brother and is only 50 years old. He has diabetes and has been sick for a while. He has been going to see doctors in Nacogdoches recently and has had lots of tests done. He had a heart cath a little while back and was told that his heart was fine. He was also told his kidneys were good. Well he has been swelling for weeks now and they have not been able to figure out why. His daughter found a specialist in Houston and he had his first appt with her yesterday. The news is not good. He has Heart and Kidney failure. They told him he will have to go on dialysis at some point but that they cannot do that until they know what all else is going on. They told them that the heart doctor in Nac did the heart cath on the wrong side of the heart! They also said that he would need a kidney transplant but they do not know if his heart would be strong enough. She said he has at least 50 POUNDS of fluid on him that they have to get off. He is not a big guy. He is 6’3” but I don’t think he weighs 160 pounds so losing that 50 pounds of fluid will leave him with nothing! Please pray for healing and wisdom as they make choices during the next few months! Please pray for my grandmother who has Alzheimer’s to be able to comprehend and deal with this situation.
