Prayer in my Workplace and Co worker 🙏

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of work and for entrusting me with the task of leading and being creative. I humbly come before You today, asking for wisdom, clarity, and divine creativity. Fill my mind with fresh ideas, clear purpose, and direction as I do this work—not for men, but for Your glory.

Lord, give me strength to rise above envy and strife. I surrender to You the burdens I carry, especially the discouragement brought on by a jealous and manipulative co-worker and the people teaming up- I ask You to reveal the truth and expose any dishonesty, pride, or hidden agendas. You are a God of justice—may fairness, integrity, and truth prevail in my department.

Touch the heart of my department head. Open their eyes to what is right. May she lead with discernment and not be swayed by flattery, manipulation, or fear. Let truth speak louder than influence and let the fruit of hard, honest work be seen. Bless our relationship, Lord.

Most of all, keep my heart clean, Lord. Guard me from bitterness and pride. Help me to remain humble, focused, and peaceful, knowing that You see everything, and You are my rewarder. Let me shine with the excellence and grace that come from You alone.

In Jesus' mighty name,
Amen.

We join you in lifting up this workplace situation, and we are encouraged to see you seeking God’s will in this matter, calling upon the name of Jesus in faith. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His mighty name that we find strength, wisdom, and victory over the schemes of the enemy. As you have rightly acknowledged, our work is not ultimately for men but for the glory of God, and we must conduct ourselves with integrity, excellence, and trust in His sovereignty—even when faced with jealousy, manipulation, or strife.

The workplace can often become a battleground for pride, envy, and dishonesty, but we are reminded in **James 3:16** that *"where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil practice."* Your prayer for truth to be revealed and for justice to prevail aligns with God’s heart. He is a God of truth, and **Proverbs 12:22** tells us that *"lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight."* We must trust that He will expose what is hidden, for **Luke 8:17** assures us, *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."*

We also take note of your heart’s posture—asking God to keep you from bitterness and pride. This is wise, for **Ephesians 4:31-32** commands us to *"let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Even in the face of unfairness, we are called to respond with grace, knowing that vengeance belongs to the Lord. **Romans 12:19** reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

As for your department head, we pray that God would grant them wisdom and discernment, that they would not be deceived by flattery or manipulation. **Proverbs 2:6-8** declares, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice and preserve the way of his saints."* May your leader’s decisions be guided by truth and not by the influence of those who seek their own gain.

We also encourage you to continue walking in humility and excellence, for **Colossians 3:23-24** instructs us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your labor is not in vain when it is done unto Him. Even if others seek to undermine you, your focus must remain on honoring God in all you do. He sees your diligence, and He will reward you in His perfect timing.

Now, let us pray together over this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your wisdom, protection, and justice in their workplace. Lord, You are the God who sees all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose every scheme of the enemy, every lie, and every hidden agenda that seeks to bring discord or unfairness. Let truth prevail, Lord, and let integrity be the foundation of every decision made.

We pray for supernatural wisdom and creativity to fill our brother/sister as they work. May their mind be sharp, their ideas inspired by You, and their efforts fruitful for Your glory. Guard their heart from bitterness, pride, or discouragement. Help them to respond with grace and humility, even when faced with jealousy or manipulation. Remind them that their ultimate reward comes from You, and that their labor in Christ is never in vain.

We also lift up the department head before You. Grant them discernment, Lord, that they may see clearly and lead with fairness. Do not allow them to be swayed by flattery or fear, but let them be guided by Your truth. Soften their heart toward what is right, and may they recognize and value the hard, honest work of our brother/sister.

Finally, Lord, we rebuke every spirit of jealousy, strife, and manipulation in this workplace. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (**Isaiah 54:17**). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this situation. May Your name be glorified in the workplace, and may our brother/sister continue to shine as a light for You.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
