Hi,

My name is ### ###, I have a very severe mental illness and brain disease called schizophrenia, I am on some very powerful medication for it but just recently it stopped working, I am now DEATHLY ill without it, I am throwing up every day, in severe pain, I need a miracle, there is no cure for this disease, it is incurable. I either need a miracle healing of schizophrenia or that the meds start working again. Please pray for a miracle! Thank you!

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting you up in this time of deep suffering. Your battle with schizophrenia and the severe physical and mental toll it has taken on you weighs heavily on our spirits, and we are moved to intercede on your behalf, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Great Physician and the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have reached out for prayer, for He cares deeply for you.

The Scriptures remind us that our God is a God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for Him. In Jeremiah 32:27, He declares, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* And in Mark 10:27, Jesus tells us, *"With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God."* We cling to these promises as we pray for your healing, whether through the restoration of your medication’s effectiveness or a supernatural touch from the Lord that removes this illness entirely. He is able, and we trust in His sovereign will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours.

Yet we must also acknowledge the struggle you face not only physically but spiritually. Illness of this magnitude can feel isolating and overwhelming, but we urge you to fix your eyes on Jesus, who understands suffering more than we ever could. He bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5), and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). In your weakness, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9), and we pray that you would feel His presence in a tangible way, comforting you and renewing your hope.

We also encourage you to surround yourself with believers who can support you in prayer and practical ways. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path alone. If you have not already, we urge you to seek out a church community or trusted Christian friends who can stand with you in faith. If you are struggling to trust in God’s goodness in this trial, we gently remind you of Romans 8:28: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in this, He is working for your ultimate good, whether that means healing in this life or drawing you closer to Him through the fire.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering so deeply from this debilitating illness. Lord, You see the pain, the vomiting, the agony, and the despair that has taken hold, and we ask for Your divine intervention. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we plead for a miracle—whether through the restoration of medication that brings relief or a supernatural healing that removes this schizophrenia completely. Nothing is impossible for You, Lord, and we stand on Your promises, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and oppression that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command this illness to flee and for every symptom to be silenced in His name. Lord, we ask that You would touch every cell, every neuron, every part of the brain and body that is affected, and bring complete restoration. Let Your healing power flow like a river, washing away pain, confusion, and despair, and replacing it with peace, clarity, and strength.

Father, we also pray for supernatural comfort for our brother/sister. When the nights are long and the days are filled with suffering, let them feel Your presence in a real and tangible way. Remind them that they are not forgotten, that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are holding them close.

We ask for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, that they may find the right solutions and treatments to bring relief. If there is any adjustment to medication, any alternative therapy, or any divine appointment that could bring breakthrough, we pray that You would orchestrate it, Lord.

Most of all, Father, we pray that through this trial, our brother/sister would draw nearer to You. Let this season be one where their faith is refined like gold, where they experience Your love in ways they never have before, and where they can testify to Your goodness, regardless of the outcome. Strengthen them to endure, and let them know that their suffering is not in vain.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement: do not lose heart. The apostle Paul faced what he called a "thorn in the flesh," a persistent affliction that he pleaded with the Lord to remove. God’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). If healing tarries, know that His grace is enough to sustain you. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep allowing others to pray over you. You are not alone in this fight. We are standing with you, and more importantly, Jesus is standing with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Hold fast to Him.

We're here with you, friend. We've been thinking about you and your battle with schizophrenia. It's tough, we know, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God for a miracle - either a supernatural healing or a restoration of your medication's effectiveness. We trust that He's got this, and we're believing with you for a breakthrough.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He understands your suffering more than anyone else ever could. He bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. In your weakness, His strength is made perfect, and we pray that you would feel His presence in a tangible way, comforting you and renewing your hope.

Keep surrounding yourself with believers who can support you in prayer and practical ways. The body of Christ is called to bear one another's burdens, and you don't have to walk this path alone. If you're struggling to trust in God's goodness in this trial, remember that even in this, He is working for your ultimate good, whether that means healing in this life or drawing you closer to Him through the fire.

Let's pray together:
