Prayer request as I swipe off the live streamer who was rude

Good and Faithful Servant
Prayer request as I swipe off the live streamer who was rude from TW and boycott them forever for causing me a hassle and agony.

We hear your frustration and the pain caused by this situation. It’s understandable to feel anger when someone treats you with disrespect, and it’s right to stand against rudeness and ungodliness. However, let us turn this moment to the Lord, seeking His peace and wisdom rather than holding onto bitterness or a spirit of boycott.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." While your feelings are valid, we must guard our hearts against allowing anger to take root, as it can lead to sin and give the enemy a foothold in our lives. Instead, let us release this offense to God and ask Him to fill you with His peace.

We also read in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" God sees all things, and He will deal justly with those who cause harm. Our role is to trust Him and walk in forgiveness, even when it’s difficult.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your peace to fill this heart that has been wounded by rudeness and disrespect. Lord, we confess any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness that may be lingering, and we ask You to cleanse it from us. Help us to release this offense into Your hands, trusting that You will deal justly with all things.

Father, we pray for the person who caused this pain. We ask that You would soften their heart and draw them to repentance. If they do not know You, Lord, we pray that they would come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Fill us with Your love so that we may extend grace even when it is undeserved.

Lord, we ask that You would guard our hearts from the enemy’s schemes. Help us to walk in forgiveness, as You have forgiven us. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind us that vengeance belongs to You alone. Strengthen us to respond in a way that honors You, even in difficult situations.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In moments like these, it’s also important to remember the words of Colossians 3:12-13, "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." Forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong that was done but about freeing ourselves from the burden of holding onto it.

If this situation has left you feeling overwhelmed, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, allowing Him to renew your mind and heart. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ. And remember, God is always with you, even in the midst of frustration and pain. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We hear how much this stung. It’s draining when someone treats us rudely and the frustration keeps replaying long after we’ve walked away. What you’re feeling matters, and it makes sense that you’d want to cut ties completely.

Sometimes the deeper ache isn’t just the moment of disrespect but the way it loops in our mind, eating at our peace more than the person themselves ever could. Boycotting someone forever can feel like taking a stand, but if we’re not careful, it can keep us handcuffed to the very thing we’re trying to escape, our own anger ends up holding us hostage while the other person moves on unaware.

A quiet, practical step might be to let this streamer go not as a permanent rage-quit, but as a deliberate release. You can decide that what happened no longer gets to rent space in your heart. That doesn’t mean pretending the rudeness was okay; it means choosing your own well-being over the slow drip of bitterness. Sometimes the healthiest boundary is a calm, internal goodbye that frees you to invest your energy in things that actually give life back.

We’ll be praying with you for that sense of real closure, where the sting fades and the weight lifts.

Lord Jesus, you see the hurt this person caused and the agitation it’s stirring. Quiet the replaying thoughts and soothe the raw places. Give the grace to release this offense into your hands so it no longer dictates mood or peace. Guard their heart from bitterness and fill that space with your steady calm. In your name we ask. Amen.

The ache within you is real, and I do not dismiss the sting of a wound inflicted by another's tongue or conduct. Yet I urge you to weigh this request in the balance of the sanctuary. You cry out from the hassle and agony, but I hear far more the peril of a soul binding itself with cords of bitterness. That very bitterness you feel, what is it but a poison you prepare for another and then swallow yourself? There is a better way, for there is forgiveness with God, and from that fountain flows all our power to forgive men. You speak of swiping off and boycotting forever, but have you considered the forever of God's mercy toward you? The pardon you have received, if you are in Christ, is a continuous, eternal forgiveness, full, complete, without back reckonings or reserves of anger. He blotted out your transgressions for His own sake, declaring, "I, even I, am he." And would you now draw up a ledger of eternal resentment against a fellow creature? If God has so forgiven you the ten thousand talents, dare you seize your brother by the throat over a hundred pence?

Let this bitterness do its sanctifying work by making Christ very sweet to your soul. When you feel the sharpness of another's sin against you, remember at once how much you have offended God. That remembrance takes away all bitterness against your fellow men. Some of us have had so much manifest forgiveness, so much outward sin forgiven, that for us to forgive ought to be as natural as to open our hands. Do not give place to the devil by nursing this grudge into a solemn vow of perpetual avoidance. That is not the spirit of the Crucified who prayed for His persecutors. I do not ask you to pretend no hurt was done, but I do charge you, as the elect of God, to put on tender mercies and forbearance. Cultivate a short memory for unkindnesses. They will be ashamed to look at you; they will never hurt you again if they see you cannot be provoked except to greater love and larger kindness. Lay this matter down at the foot of the Cross where your own sins were laid. There is forgiveness, now, at this moment, and the peace of God which passes all understanding will garrison your heart as you cease the bitter arithmetic of wrongs suffered. Bear your sorrow with Him, do the will of Jesus in forgiving, and this is rest. Go your way in peace, and let the matter drop into the sea of God's forgetfulness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come asking for prayer, yet your heart is full of wrath against this live streamer. You wish to boycott them forever, swiping them away because they caused you hassle and agony. But what is this if not anger taking the throne of your soul? When we speak with such passion, we ruin everything. No matter how just your words may seem, if you speak with anger, you destroy your own peace. See how the apostles, when they suffered wrongs, did not lash out but prayed for their persecutors, grieving for their sakes, not burning with resentment. The Holy Spirit does not dwell where wrath is. Cursed is the wrathful heart. It is like a storm at sea, full of tumultuous noise, unfit for any good work or prayer. Your eyes become unsightly, your mind distraught; you are no better than a man intoxicated or mad. Is this the state in which you would approach God? He desires a soul that is calm and free from passion.

The peace of God must rule in your heart, not anger. When two thoughts fight within you after an insult, one crying for revenge and the other for endurance, let that divine peace step forward as umpire and award the prize to the thought that bids you bear it meekly. For God Himself made peace with you, not demanding payment first. He reconciled you to Himself out of His own love. So you must do likewise. Human peace, the kind that demands vengeance and the silencing of every annoyance, is not what Christ left us. He said, "My peace I give to you." That peace is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy. Without it, everything else is useless. If you boycott this person forever, nursing your grudge, you become a maker of disturbance. And the peacemakers, not the troublemakers, are called sons of God. The son of the devil is the one who sows division and clings to wrath.

You ask me to pray for you. But consider: what is prayer when it is offered with wrath and a fixed determination to hold a grudge? It is wasted breath. The one who prays in earnest must first cleanse the heart. The Lord says, "If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." If you cannot forgive this rude streamer, how will you ask God to forgive your own sins? You say you have been wronged and put to agony. But see what the Scriptures teach: bear all things meekly, stand forward in defense of those who are wronged, and above all, do not retain anger. It is far more noble and secure to master your own spirit than to punish another. The man who is insulted but controls himself is like a harbor undisturbed by storms; the one who rages is forever tossed and self-condemned. You only harm yourself more than they harmed you. That streamer may have been rude, but your prolonged anger does them no real injury, while it eats away at your own soul.

Come, then, not with this prayer for a permanent boycott, but with tears for your own agitation. Put away this resentment as a foul thing. Call upon God in truth, with a sincere heart. A mighty weapon is prayer, but only when it is wielded by a forgiving spirit. God is merciful beyond all comparison. If you can show that you have forgiven this person, then you may boldly ask for your own forgiveness and peace. Do not say merely "I am a sinner" while still clutching your injury. Grieve over your anger and be earnest to rid yourself of it. Then pray, not for the destruction of your enemy, but for the gift of peace in your own heart, and even for the well-being of the one who offended you. That is the way of Christ. That is the path to the good things promised. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Your words carry the sting of real hurt, and that matters. Being treated rudely, feeling that sense of hassle and agony, that’s not small. It’s natural to want to cut someone off and walk away for good. But let me gently ask you to consider what that “forever” might do inside your own heart.

When we cling to an offense and let it harden into a permanent boycott, it often becomes a root of bitterness. That root doesn’t just trouble you; it begins to defile everything around you, your thoughts, your words, your peace. The person who hurt you may not even be thinking about it, but you carry the weight. Over time, that bitterness can twist your view of others and rob you of the quiet confidence God wants you to have.

The goal isn’t to pretend nothing happened. The hurt is real. But the call of Christ is to follow peace with all people, as much as it depends on you. If the issue doesn’t threaten your faith or what God calls sin, sometimes we simply let it go, not because they deserve it, but because our own soul needs the release. Paul once went along with something he didn’t have to, just to keep peace and not create a bigger scene. That’s not weakness; that’s wisdom from above.

Before you can truly have peace with others, you need peace within yourself, and that starts with peace with God. When your sins are forgiven through Jesus’ blood, the war inside you stops. That inner peace settles your heart, and from that place, you can extend grace even when it’s undeserved. The world may not understand that kind of peace, but it’s what Jesus left us: “My peace I give to you.”

So here’s my prayer for you: rather than swiping them off forever and letting the hassle loop in your mind, bring it to God. Ask Him to keep your mind stayed on Him, so His perfect peace can guard your heart. Let go of the offense not because they were right, but because Christ has forgiven you far more. I’m praying that the bitterness won’t take root, that you’ll know that calm that comes from trusting God to handle what people do, and that you’ll even find the freedom to release that grudge entirely. He ordains peace for you.

We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer request and allowing us to stand in agreement with you during this difficult time. It’s never easy when we face rudeness or mistreatment, especially from those in the public eye, and we’ve been lifting you up, asking God to bring peace to your heart and wisdom to your steps.

If the Lord has already worked in this situation—whether by giving you peace, guiding your decisions, or even changing the circumstances—we’d love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, you’re still feeling the weight of this struggle, please don’t hesitate to post it again as a new request. We’re here to continue praying alongside you, asking God to guard your heart, direct your responses, and bring justice in His perfect way.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort and strength as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
