Prayer please

We hear your heart and we are standing with you in prayer, for we know that the enemy does seek to attack and to wear down the saints, but we also know that our God is far greater and that no weapon formed against us will prosper.

We want to share with you what Scripture says about this battle, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, yet we are given clear instruction and hope. We are told to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might, to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:10-11. We are told to submit therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently and lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, that He died and rose again, that we are saved Romans 10:9. So we come to God not in our own strength or goodness, but in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, and it is in His name that the enemy must flee.

We rebuke the attack of the enemy over your life and we ask the Lord to break off every lingering effect, every heaviness, fear, fatigue, confusion or oppression that has remained since yesterday. We declare that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that you are more than a conqueror through him who loved you Romans 8:37. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and we thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust Psalm 91:2. Lord, we ask that You cover this one with Your presence and wash away every aftereffect of the enemy's attack. Where there is weariness, bring Your rest. Where there is anxiety or fear, bring Your perfect peace, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We ask that You renew their mind and strengthen their spirit, that You restore joy and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We put on behalf of this one the whole armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word Ephesians 6:14-17. We command every work of darkness to leave and to flee at the name of Jesus, and we invite Your light, Your healing, and Your victory to reign in this life. Help this dear one to remain close to You, to abide in Your Word, to pray continually, and to walk in obedience so the enemy has no foothold. Let them know deeply that nothing can separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to draw near to God today. Spend time in His Word, speak Scripture aloud over yourself, pray in the name of Jesus, and worship, for worship drives back the darkness. If you can, share with a trusted Christian believer who can pray with you in person and help you stand firm. Remember that God did not leave you to fight alone, for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you Deuteronomy 20:4. Rest in His strength and trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

We heard you and we are praying with you after what you felt yesterday and the lingering effects today. It makes sense that you would still feel worn down and unsettled the day after a hard spiritual battle.

We believe that battle is real, and at the same time we do not want you to carry extra fear about it. God is both close to you in the moment and still in charge over it, even when you feel shaken. Feeling the aftereffects does not mean you are alone or unprotected.

One thing that often helps when you have been through something like this is not to stay isolated with it. If you have a pastor, small group leader, or a trusted friend who walks faithfully with the Lord, consider letting them know simply what happened and asking them to pray with you in person today, even for a few minutes. Staying connected, getting rest, and keeping to simple rhythms of prayer and time in Scripture can do a lot to steady your heart while God restores your strength.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see what happened yesterday and how heavy today still feels. We ask for Your peace to settle over them, for clear rest tonight, and for the reassurance of Your presence close by. Give them wisdom for next steps and bring trusted people around them to encourage and pray with them. Keep them in Your care and guide them in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer request has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in seeking His deliverance and peace. We are sorry to hear of the heaviness you felt yesterday and the after effects that linger today, and we do not take lightly the reality of the enemy who seeks to distress the souls of those who desire to walk with Christ.

We are reminded that knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we are able to ward off all the blows of the enemy, and that our deliverance from every assault is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom in His own Son, and through the blood of the Lamb He brings His people forth.

We pray for you now that the Lord would be your refuge and strength. Our Father in heaven, we bring this dear soul before Thy throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. Thou seest the attack of the enemy and the weariness that remains. We ask that Thou wouldst cover this one with Thy divine armor, grant a fresh sense of Thy presence, and overrule even the malice of the enemy for good, chastening and keeping and drawing nearer to Thyself. Let Thy perfect love cast out fear, let Thy truth guard heart and mind, and let Thy Spirit grant rest and renewal. Teach this soul to know Thee more deeply, for to know Thee is joy unspeakable and full of glory, and to stand firm against every accusation of Satan who would bring to mind slips and failings. We plead the blood of Christ as the ransom and the victory, and ask for deliverance that is effectual and complete, for Thou alone canst bring forth out of darkness and out of the pit.

Take courage in this, that though the enemy may strike at you, your gracious God is using all things in love to your soul, and He will not cast you out to become the prey of the enemy. Put on the panoply of God, grasp the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and resist the arch enemy in the power of Christ, trusting that He who has delivered will yet deliver.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant you clear peace, restored strength, and songs of deliverance in the days ahead. Rest your soul upon Him, for He will yet come to your deliverance.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your request and for being honest about what you experienced yesterday and the after effects you are feeling today. We are praying for you and we take this seriously, because Scripture teaches that we are in a real spiritual warfare, not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers and spiritual forces of evil.

You are right to recognize the enemy's attack and to ask for prayer. That is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom and vigilance. The Christian life is described as a warfare that requires strong armor and a watchful mind, and we are not left to fight in our own strength. God Himself is our Commander and He stands ready to help. He has given us armor that fits this kind of battle, not made of steel, but of truth and righteousness and faith and love of wisdom, so that we can stand firm.

One thing we are reminded of is that the enemy often attacks when we are alone and isolated, just as he did in the beginning. There is great protection in staying closely connected to other believers, gathering together, praying together, and not trying to carry this alone. If you have a pastor, a small group, or trusted Christian friends, please let them know how you are doing so they can stand with you in person as well.

We also remember that Christ has shown immense longsuffering and mercy, even to those who once opposed Him, as a pattern of hope for all who believe. His goodness and power are greater than any attack, and He does not promise that we will never face hardship, but He does promise to be with us in it, to give us grace to endure, and to teach us to overcome evil by becoming light and good through His Spirit dwelling in us. He has given us authority in Christ to stand against the power of the enemy, and He calls us to be sober, alert, and to handle the armor He has provided with purpose.

We are praying for you now:

Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your protection and peace over this dear one. Thank You that You are our Commander and our refuge. We ask that You would cover them with Your armor of truth, righteousness, and faith, and guard their mind and heart from fear, heaviness, and confusion after what they experienced. Fill them with Your Spirit, renew their strength, and help them to rest in Your longsuffering love and mercy. Drive away every work of the enemy and remind them that they are Yours and that nothing can separate them from Your love in Christ. Surround them with faithful community and help them to stay close to You through Your Word and prayer. Give them deep peace today and confidence that You are with them and will keep them. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Please keep reaching out and stay connected to the body of Christ. If these feelings continue, keep bringing them to the Lord and to trusted believers around you. We are continuing to pray for your peace, strength, and protection in the days ahead.

I am praying for you now, that the Lord will lift this oppression from you, fill you with His peace, strengthen you by His Spirit, surround you with His truth as a shield, and help you to stand firm in the victory that is already yours in Jesus. May He guard your mind and heart, renew your strength, and let you know His presence and deliverance in a very real way.
