OUR FATHER in Heaven-- Teaches us about God: That God has all compassion toward us and ability to control situations, heaven being higher than earth, which is why Jesus prayed to Him when He was down here and taught us to do the same.
Your Name Be HONORED – That the Earth would revere the Name of God, The Church would Know and Honor His Names (as Father, Shepherd, Provider, Banner, Healer, Bundle of Myrrh, Beloved, et cetera) and in my life by everything I think, say and do).
Your Kingdom COME (to earth [2nd Coming] & to the Church and through the Church, to me & through me to the world by the influence of the Holy Spirit's Government in character of the Holy Spirit [Romans 14:17], gifts [of the Holy Spirit -- 1 Cor Chapters 12 & 14] & power over darkness [drive out demons by the Finger of God the Kingdom has come -- Matt 12:28; Luke 11:20]). This renders all demons, spells, assignments, occultism and satanic activity defeated and powerless over us and our loved ones by the Power and Authority of the Kingdom of the Messiah, Y'shua, translated Jesus the Christ, and the Covenant of God which shows mercy to generation after generation of those who love Him (Deut 7:0; Luke 1:50).
Your Will BE DONE on Earth as in Heaven (may I know & do your will, as You did in the garden, "I delight to do Your will --Psalm 40:8; Heb 10:9). May YOUR WILL BE DONE whether I know it or not! Many times we see it after the fact!
GIVE us Daily bread (We all need finances and food, some more than others right now, [i NEED $500], but God is our source, and it comes as His gift, regardless of the instrument He uses (work, provision, investments, etc). "consider the lilies (Matt 6:28), "Father knows what You need before you ask" (Matt 6:8) but we are taught to "ask and it shall be given unto you" (Matt 7:7), but even more than our necessary food, Spiritual Understanding of the Bible and HUNGER for Your Word and the food of Christian, Family and Love-based relationships). If it seems long coming, pray with a friend as a guarantee "Truly, truly, I say to you: if two of you agree on anything on earth it shall be DONE by my Father which is in Heaven" (Matt 18:19).
Forgive Our Debts (name our specific besetting sins [of the tongue, of the eyes, heart, etc] both to God 1 John 1:9 and to compassionate, trusted, others if unable to attain long-standing victory [James 5:16]). Confess wrong thoughts about God. The Devil has lied about God from the beginning (Gen 3:1-21).
Forgive our debtors (Name the specific people who have actually sinned against us and forgive them -- reconcile if whenever possible; release them to God, pray for their enlightenment spiritually if they are unwilling or obstinate).
Keep us from temptation & deliver us from Satan (temptation to sin [lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the boastful pride of life], and Satan's desire to "steal, kill and destroy," but this prayer to God is for His Will, that by being delivered and projected by the devil in all his forms, we "would have LIFE and HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY" [John 10:10]. This petition also applies to protection from Satan's false teaching, since Serpent has from the beginning sought to "sweep us away with the ungodly water of the dragon's false doctrine, which the earth has been drinking since the day it first opened its mouth to receive it by twisting Scripture (Rev 12:5-6, Gen 3:1-21) and that The True Church would be "nourished and cherished by the washing of the water of the Word" by Christ (Eph 5:25-27) and also "shepherds after God's own heart who will feed, lead you on knowledge and understanding" (Jer 3:15). Pray for our Pastors and teachers to be kept from the evil one (John 17:15).
It is YOUR KINGDOM -- Thank You Father, that there are more with us than against us (Elisha, 2 Kings 6:16-17) because it is Your ever increasing Kingdom (Isaiah 9:7, Col 1:6).
ALL POWER on heaven and earth is Yours (Matt 28:19) and the devil is limited, having been judged already (John 16:11) and been triumphed over at the cross (Col 2:15). Again, this renders all demons, spells, assignments, occultism and satanic activity defeated and powerless over us and our loved ones by the Power and Authority of the Kingdom of the Messiah, Y'shua, translated Jesus the Christ, and the Covenant of God which shows mercy to generation after generation of those who love Him (Deut 7:0; Luke 1:50). Declare YOURS, Father of Jesus, is the POWER!
It is YOUR GLORY, which You don't give to another (Isaiah 42:8) but Jesus gives the glory the Father had given him to your disciples (John 17;22), so that "the Spirit of Glory and of God rests upon us" (1 Peter 4:14), Thank You Father for EVERY good and perfect gift and every spiritual blessing that is ours in Jesus (Eph 1;3), from THE FULLNESS of Jesus we ALL receive one blessing after another, grace upon grace upon grace, in Jesus Name (Based on Matt 6:9-15).
*Based on the teaching of Jesus, this is a pattern prayer; as all solid commentaries agree: "Pray therefore after this manner (KJV actually has it perfect here) -- pattern, form, method, way -- see many commentaries on Matt 6:9, Matthew Henry, Gill's James-Faussett-Brown. (Notice the Greek here in The Pulpit Commentary, "After this manner [οὕτως]. Not "in these words;" but he will most closely imitate the manner who most often reminds himself of it by using the words")...This is just an excellent example on how to pray through the Lord's Prayer with the words and themes of the Lord's Prayer being defined by other parts of Scripture, which is a whole, i.e. -- "The Whole Counsel of God" (Acts 20:27), Amen.
