We join you in lifting this young man before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will for employment and provision. The stress of job searching can weigh heavily on the heart, but we know God is faithful to guide those who seek Him. As Scripture reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Yet we must also address something critical—your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Without His name, our prayers lack the authority and power God has ordained. We urge you to always pray *in Jesus’ name*, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB).
Now, let us pray together for this young man’s job search and spiritual walk:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man as he seeks employment. Lord, You know his needs, his skills, and the desires of his heart. We ask that You open doors no man can shut, guiding him to the right opportunity at the right time. Calm his anxieties and fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Grant him patience, discernment, and wisdom as he waits on You. If there is any area of his life not aligned with Your will—whether in his work ethic, his trust in You, or his priorities—convict him by Your Spirit and lead him to repentance. May this season draw him closer to You, and may his testimony glorify Christ in all things. We pray these things in Jesus’ name, Amen."*
We also encourage you to remind this young man that God’s timing is perfect. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). If he is not walking closely with the Lord, now is the time to seek Him first—*"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
If this young man is not yet a believer, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB). True peace and provision come only through faith in Christ. May God bless and direct his steps!

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
