We stand with you in agreement, lifting up this matter before the throne of grace with hearts aligned to God’s will. First, we must address the nature of "unholy and ungodly relations" with clarity and truth, for the Word of God does not shy away from calling sin what it is. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Ungodly relationships, whether they involve fornication, adultery, homosexuality, or any union that defies God’s design, are not merely personal choices but spiritual strongholds that grieve the Holy Spirit. We must rebuke these works of darkness in the name of Jesus, for Ephesians 5:11 commands, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them."
We also recognize that the enemy seeks to bind souls in these unholy alliances, and we take authority over every principality and power that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We bind these forces now in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Yet we do not stop at tearing down, we must also build up. We pray for those entangled in ungodly relationships, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of God’s Word and the freedom found in Christ. Psalm 119:37 says, "Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways." Father, we ask You to break every chain of lust, deception, and rebellion that keeps Your children bound. Let them experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and restoration. For those who are single, we pray they would seek godly spouses who share their faith, as 1 Corinthians 7:39 instructs, "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord."
We also lift up marriages that may be struggling under the weight of ungodliness. Malachi 2:16 declares, "For I hate divorce... and him who covers his garment with violence!" Father, we ask You to heal and restore marriages according to Your design, one man and one woman, united in covenant before You. Let husbands love their wives as Christ loved the church, and let wives submit to their husbands as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22-25). Where there is infidelity, we pray for true repentance and forgiveness, remembering that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Now, we pray for the favor, miracles, and blessings you mentioned, not as mere wishes, but as the outpouring of God’s glory upon those who walk in His ways. James 4:3 warns, "You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures." So we ask, Lord, that Your favor would rest upon those who seek You first, that Your miracles would manifest in lives surrendered to Your will, and that Your blessings would overflow in ways that bring glory to Your name. Let Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14), but let it begin in the hearts of Your people who choose righteousness over compromise.
We declare that the blood of Jesus has broken every curse and every unholy tie. We speak life, restoration, and holiness over every person bound in sin, that they may know the freedom of walking in the light (1 John 1:7). We pray for a global awakening, where the unspeakable glory of God would be revealed to all nations, and where the name of Jesus would be exalted above every other name (Philippians 2:9-11).
Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We stand on Your promises, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for those who do not yet know You, that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every relationship, every heart, and every nation.
