Prayer over my past sins, small and great

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over all my past sins that they be turned around for the glory of GOD. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We join with you in humbling ourselves before the Lord and thank Him for your desire to bring every past sin, small and great, under the blood of Jesus and to see God glorified through your life. It is a beautiful and biblical desire to want God to redeem what has been broken.

We rejoice that when we come to Him in true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, He fully forgives and cleanses us. As it is written, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 and As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12 We do not need to carry the weight of guilt any longer when we have confessed and turned from those sins, for in Christ we are a new creation. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 We encourage you to walk in that freedom and not let the enemy bring condemnation where God has brought forgiveness.

We also stand with you in believing that God in His mercy can turn even our past failures around for His glory. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 What was meant for harm, God can use to display His grace, to teach us humility, to make us more compassionate toward others, and to testify of His power to save and restore.

We agree with you in prayer against the enemy, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 We resist him by submitting ourselves to God, by staying rooted in His Word, by walking in obedience and prayer, and by putting on the whole armor of God daily.

We now pray together for you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving. We thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning and for the forgiveness that flows through the cross. We ask that You would continue to cleanse our dear brother or sister, establish their heart in the assurance of Your pardon, and use their testimony for Your glory. Let every place of past sin become a place where Your grace and power are displayed. We ask for Your favor not for selfish gain but that Your will would be done and Your name would be lifted high. We ask for Your blessings and for miracles according to Your perfect wisdom and love, that You would be glorified in all the earth. We pray that You would guard this life from the schemes of darkness, strengthen faith, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your abounding glory be seen in their life and throughout the world. Help them to walk in holiness, in victory, and in joyful obedience all the days of their life. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We are grateful you reached out and shared this longing to see even past failures turned for God's glory. That desire to honor Him is good, and we want to stand with you in it.

We hear how heavily you carry both small and great sins from the past, and also how much you long for God's favor and light to break through in your life and in the world. The picture that helps us is of redemption as a purchase. When we could never pay the debt ourselves, God paid it through Christ and bought us back, not to leave us under the old weight, but to be His and to be loved while we learn to serve Him. That freedom doesn't come from pretending sin wasn't there, but from humble, daily dependence on His mercy, which slowly deepens our closeness to Him.

If it would help, you might set aside a quiet few minutes each day this week to simply tell God honestly where you have fallen short and then thank Him for carrying what you could not, asking Him to shape what comes next for His glory.

Father, we lift our brother to You. Thank You for Your mercy that covers what we cannot undo. Lead him in Your will, guard him from darkness, and make his life bear witness to Your goodness. Give him wisdom, peace, and a steady trust in Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a blessed and hopeful thing that you have been led to bring your past sins before the Lord and to desire that they be turned to His glory. We stand with you in faith and prayer over this, and we rejoice to tell you that there is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared.

The Scripture declares, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. This forgiveness is bound up with redemption by blood. It is not a mere word but a deed of divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. It is a surprising forgiveness, so full and free that God Himself seems to speak as one surprised that such sins should be remitted, yet He does remit them. The amount of guilt is put entirely out of consideration, for He forgives not on account of the sinner, but for His own sake, and for the sake of His Son who shed His blood.

You speak of sins small and great. Know this assurance, there is forgiveness for your sins, whatever they may have been. As soon as a soul trusts in the crucified Redeemer, all his sins are forgiven, whether past, present, or to come. The great redemption prevails over the tops of the mountains of our sins, as the flood prevailed over the mountains of the earth, and in one triumphant moment of faith in Christ the guilt of numerous years is taken away. When you get Christ, you have redemption, for He is redemption.

And this forgiveness is enjoyed by us now. We have redemption, we have the forgiveness of sins. It is a present possession for those who believe, not a distant hope. He not only forgave at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, and this forgiveness is an eternal forgiveness. He will never rake up your past offences and a second time impute them. If your sins are searched for, they shall not be found, for He says, I will not remember thy sins. He not only forgives the past, but trusts His people and loves them as if they had never gone astray.

When the Son removes guilt, the Spirit removes guile. The forgiven man undergoes a change of nature. He does not try to make his sins appear less heinous than they are, but confesses all their guilt and heartily humbles himself in the sight of God, and then he forsakes the love of sin. Though there are sins into which we fall, there are no sins which we love, and we cannot rest happy till we are made more like our Redeemer.

Therefore we pray with you and for you.

Our heavenly Father, we come through Jesus Christ Thy Son, in whom alone is salvation, and through whose blood alone is redemption. We confess before Thee that we are sinners indebted to Thee beyond all paying, and we plead not our own goodness but Thy rich grace and the atonement which covers all guilt. Forgive, we pray, all past sins, the small and the great, according to the riches of Thy grace, and blot them out for Thine own sake, remembering them no more. Turn what was once for shame into a testimony of Thy mercy, that Thy glory may be seen in a pardoned and changed life.

We ask for Thy favor which is life, and for those works of Thy power and grace which Thou seest fit to give, not according to our deserving but according to Thy will, that Christ may be magnified. We pray against the principalities and powers of darkness, that being clothed in the whole armour of God and standing in the finished work of Christ, this soul may stand and withstand in the evil day. Let Thy glory be known abroad, and let this one walk in newness of life, with guile forsaken when guilt is forgiven, fearing Thee and rejoicing in full forgiveness.

We ask this with thanksgiving, trusting that Thou hearest us for Christ's sake, in whose name we pray. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
