We stand with you in agreement, lifting this request before the throne of grace. The Bible warns us clearly about the influence of those we keep company with. "Don’t be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). It is wise and necessary to pray against ungodly associations that can lead us away from the path of righteousness. We must also be vigilant against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to ensnare us, for "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
We rebuke every principality and power of darkness that seeks to establish strongholds in your life or in the lives of those around you. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We pray that the Lord would surround you with godly company, those who will sharpen you, encourage you in the faith, and walk with you in righteousness. "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). May the Lord sever every unholy tie and connection that does not align with His will for your life.
We also lift up your request for favor, miracles, and blessings. While we know that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB), we must ensure that our hearts are aligned with His will. Favor, miracles, and blessings flow from a life surrendered to Christ, walking in obedience to His Word. We pray that the Lord would grant you favor in the eyes of those who can open doors for you, but more importantly, favor in His sight as you seek to live a life that honors Him. May His glory indeed cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14 WEB), and may you be a vessel through which His glory shines.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Lord, we ask that You would reveal to us any ungodly associations in our lives. Give us the wisdom and courage to distance ourselves from those who would lead us astray and surround us with brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage us in our walk with You. We rebuke every principality and power of darkness that seeks to hinder Your purposes in our lives. We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB).
Father, we pray for Your favor to rest upon us, not as the world gives, but as only You can provide. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that would lead us away from Your will. We ask for miracles, not for our glory, but for Your name to be exalted. Let Your blessings flow in our lives as we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33 WEB). May Your glory cover the earth, and may we be instruments of Your peace and love in this world.
Lord, we ask that You would purify our hearts and minds. Help us to walk in holiness and to flee from every form of evil. Strengthen us to resist temptation and to stand firm in the faith. We thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through Him that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. May our lives reflect Your glory, and may we walk in the fullness of Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
