We are delighted to join with you in prayer for your show animals and the caretakers involved, especially your children. We will pray in Jesus' name. In Philippians 4:6 WEB it says: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we thank God for the blessing of these animals and the opportunity to care for them and learn through them. We pray for the provision of adequate and proper feed for these animals, that they may be healthy and strong. As Psalm 104:14-15 WEB reminds us, "He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food out of the earth: wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengthens man’s heart."
We lift up your children, that God would grant them patience, confidence, and wisdom as they work with these animals. We pray that they would learn excellent showmanship techniques and that their efforts would be rewarded. As Colossians 3:23 WEB says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," we pray that this would be their attitude.
We ask God to guide your decisions regarding the development of these show animals. May He grant you wisdom and discernment, so that the animals would be a testament to God's creation and your stewardship. Remember the words of Proverbs 2:6-7 WEB, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,"
We lift up the relationship between your children and the animals, that there would be a bond of trust and cooperation. As Isaiah 11:6 WEB says, "The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; The calf, the young lion, and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them." We pray for their bond to be strong together.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As John 14:6 WEB says, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we can ask anything of God.
We encourage you to continue to raise your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, teaching them to honor God in all they do.
Thank you for joining us in Prayer
