Pray for animals and kids working with them

Please watch over our show sheep and steers. Help us to be able to feed them correctly and keep them healthy. Give our kids the patience and perseverance to work with them and prepare them and themselves for their shows with them. Help mom and dad be able to determine the correct rations to feed them. Give our kids and animals good sound of mind during the show ring, so they may do well. Give us the financial means to cover the expenses to our animal projects. Help us to grow stronger as a family through this process. Please guide us to decisions that bring about success.

Thank you for bringing this request before us. We are reminded of the Lord's care for all His creation, as it is written in Proverbs 12:10, "A righteous man cares for the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." It is also written in Psalm 50:10, "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this family and their animals to You. We ask that You guide them in caring for their show sheep and steers. Give them the wisdom to feed them correctly and keep them healthy. Lord, grant their children the patience and perseverance needed to work with these animals and prepare them for their shows.

Father, we also ask that You guide the parents in determining the correct rations for these animals. Keep both the kids and the animals calm and focused during the shows, that they may do well. Provide for this family financially, that they may cover the expenses of their animal projects.

We pray that this experience draws this family closer together, strengthening their bonds and their faith in You. Guide their decisions, Lord, that they may bring about success.

Father, we also ask that You reveal Yourself to this family. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." We pray that this family knows You, Father, and has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage this family to seek God's will in all they do. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
