Prayer over a huge problem

Dear Family Of God, Today i'd like to pray over a huge problem i'm having regarding time. I have been diagnosed to have schizophrenia by a doctor and i found that the manner in which he did his work was negligent, but time is on his side. According to the law, if i did not claim after a certain time, i cannot claim for damages at all. I am praying that the law find favour from the documents i have. Amen.

We join together with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for we know that time and justice ultimately belong to Him. We hear your distress over this diagnosis and your concern that negligence may have occurred, and that the law's time limit may prevent you from seeking what you believe is right. We want you to know we are praying for you and standing with you in this difficult season.

We are reminded that our times are not ultimately in the hands of courts or calendars, but in the hands of God. Psalm 31:15 says, My times are in your hand. And Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. Even when earthly law sets deadlines that feel restrictive and worrisome, the Lord sees all truth and no detail is hidden from Him. Psalm 37:5-6 encourages us, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noonday.

We also pray for your health and peace of mind in the midst of this struggle with schizophrenia. The Lord is compassionate toward those who suffer and He is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We pray that God will grant wisdom to all medical professionals involved in your care and that He will bring clarity, stability, and peace to your mind and heart.

We pray also for wisdom and favor regarding the legal matter and the documents you have. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask God to guide you to wise and godly counsel, both legal and spiritual, and that if it is His will, truth will be clearly seen through what you have prepared. We pray that justice would be done according to His perfect will, for Proverbs 21:15 says, It is joy to the righteous to do justice. Whether the outcome is as you hope, we pray you will be given peace that surpasses understanding as you trust Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And we hold to Romans 8:28, knowing that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

We want to gently share with you something we noticed in your request. You closed with Amen, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We bring this up in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. And Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your need for Him, and to come to God the Father through Him alone. He is our mediator, our advocate, and our true source of hope when earthly systems feel limited by time.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the pain, the confusion, and the worry about time and about this diagnosis. Lord, we ask You to bring healing and peace, to steady the mind and calm the heart, and to surround this life with Your presence and with trustworthy help. We ask for Your wisdom to guide every doctor and every decision regarding care. Lord, we also bring the legal concern before Your throne of justice. You see what is true and what has been done in negligence or not. We pray that You would let truth be revealed through the documents and that You would grant favor where it is just and according to Your will. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and that You give peace even if doors remain closed, for Your timing and Your justice are perfect. Help our dear one to trust You more than any earthly law or deadline, and to find rest knowing that his times are in Your hand. We pray that he would know Jesus Christ more deeply, that he would call upon His name and be saved, and that he would experience the peace that guards heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Provide trustworthy helpers, both legal and medical, and surround him with care and steadiness. Lead him in Your will and let him know Your nearness each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden concerning time and the search for justice has been laid before the Lord with deep sympathy. To feel that a wrong may have been done to you, and yet to find that the law sets a boundary of time beyond which no claim can be heard, is a trial that presses heavily upon the spirit, and we do not make light of it.

We are reminded that earthly justice, at its best, is but a faint shadow of the justice of God. The law of man must put limits and seasons upon its inquiries, for it is administered by fallible hands. But the justice of God is perfect, it slumbers not, and it will right every wrong in its season. As it has been well said, to suppose an unjust God is to imagine an absurdity, for justice is included in the very thought of God. If this world were all, we might well cry, where is thy justice, O God. But there is a world to come, and a Judge who will not at all acquit the wicked, and who is slow to anger, carrying His axe bound up in rods, giving space for truth to be made known and for repentance to be sought.

This same justice, which is so terrible to the sinner, has been fully satisfied for all who flee to Christ. Justice came to Him in Gethsemane and at Calvary, and spent its fury there in the Saviour's heart. For all the sins of His people He has made such a full reconciliation that divine justice itself cannot ask to be paid twice for the same offence. Therefore we may come boldly, not to demand our own way, but to cast ourselves upon a righteous Father who is both just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. Christ knows your case and the law concerning it, for He has lived among men and borne the penalties of justice, and He stands as the great Arbitrator who will see that full justice is done.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His mercy would grant you wisdom and peace, and that if there has indeed been negligence, the truth as contained in your documents may be clearly understood by those who must judge it. We pray that lawful authority may look upon what is presented with fairness and care, and that you may find favour so far as is right and true. Yet above all we pray that your heart may rest not in the verdict of any earthly court, but in the perfect righteousness of God, who will do right.

We would also exhort you with tenderness to continue to seek wise and faithful help for your health. A diagnosis so weighty as this ought not to be borne alone. Seek godly counsel, and competent medical counsel also, that you may be cared for in body and mind while you wait upon the Lord. Do not let bitterness take root if the way of the law is closed to you, but commit your cause to Him that judgeth righteously, knowing that no affliction is wasted in His hands.

Let us pray together.

O righteous Father, Thou art slow to anger and great in power, and Thou wilt not at all acquit the wicked, yet Thou hast provided a perfect atonement in Thy Son, so that mercy and justice have met together. Look upon this Thy servant who is troubled by time and by the fear of injustice. Thou knowest the truth of this matter, every document, every act, every motive. If wrong has been done, bring it to light according to Thy will. Grant wisdom to all who examine these papers, and grant to this troubled heart quietness and trust in Thy sovereign hand. Heal and sustain in infirmity, guard the mind, and above all reveal Christ as the substitute who bore the penalty of sin, that this soul may know that justice is satisfied for all who trust in Him, and may find peace that passeth understanding. Grant that whether the gate of earthly redress be open or shut, this one may hear Thy voice saying, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee, and may rest in Thy perfect justice and Thy perfect love. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.
