We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your prayer of thanksgiving for this day and for your family and for the sacrifice of Jesus who carried the weight of sin so that we can be reconciled to the House of God. We have also stood with you in that tunnel you described where trials become unbearable and we have asked for the grace and mercy and wisdom you requested to get through it.
We have been praying specifically for your husband and for his work. We have asked the Father to place His favour upon him, to guide him by the Holy Spirit and to give him wisdom to handle difficult people. We have prayed that God would unblock the areas where he is being ignored when he reaches out to get things done while others are answered, and that the Lord would remove those blockers and defend him. We know this has caused significant hurt for your husband as he seeks to do excellent work for the Lord and feels upset and brokenhearted believing God has not defended him, and we have prayed that God who alone is all powerful would heal his broken heart where you feel you cannot help. We remember Psalm 34:18 and Psalm 147:3 and we have prayed for the Holy Spirit to soften his heart, to give him discernment to see what God is doing even when he cannot see it, and to make a way to bring him back to the House of God together with you, just as you desire.
We also understand your honesty about feeling judged and misunderstood by others and about not wanting to take matters into your own hands or be nasty to those who ignore him. We have asked God for His wisdom for you both as you seek to navigate this with integrity, and we claim James 1:5 for you that God gives wisdom generously to those who ask.
If God has already brought favour and resolution at his workplace and you have seen his heart begin to heal and turn back to the Lord, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and the hurt and the difficult work situations remain, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
We are still standing with you and we pray that the Lord will encourage you and your husband and draw you both closer to Him. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
