We join you in heartfelt gratitude for the many blessings the Lord has poured out upon your family. It is a joy to lift up praises for His faithfulness, provision, and protection over your lives. The Scriptures remind us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). Indeed, every breath, every moment of health, and every opportunity we have is a gift from His hand.
We also stand with you in praying for your daughter as she begins another semester of college. Father, we ask that You would grant her wisdom beyond her years, as You promised: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it shall be given him" (James 1:5). May she seek You first in all her decisions, trusting that "the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10). Strengthen her mind, body, and spirit as she faces the challenges of her studies, and surround her with godly influences, classmates and teachers who will encourage her faith and growth in You.
Lord, we also pray for your provision over this family. You have promised, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We trust You to meet every need, whether financial, emotional, or spiritual, as You have been faithful in the past.
We do want to gently encourage this family to always remember that all prayers and thanksgiving are made complete in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, as He Himself said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we are reconciled to God. If your daughter, or any member of your family, has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that this would be the moment they surrender their lives to Him. Salvation is found in no one else, and we long for all to know the peace and hope that comes from a personal relationship with Him.
Father, we ask that You continue to draw this family closer to You, deepening their faith and dependence on Your Word. May they walk in Your ways, seeking Your will above all else. Bless them abundantly, Lord, and may Your name be glorified in every area of their lives. In Jesus’ precious and mighty name, we pray. Amen.
