We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing your heart so openly with us. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this difficult and painful time.
We have continued to lift you up before the Lord since you shared about feeling accused of pride, feeling pulled as in a tug of war, feeling forced to do the will of God against your own will and feeling unable to see His providence or what He has done for you. We have also prayed for you as you expressed the desire to renounce your faith and to stop reading the Bible, stop praying, stop going to church and stop believing. We understand how deep the hurt must be when human judgment leaves you feeling condemned and with no choice, and we have asked the Lord to bring you comfort, clarity and healing.
We want to encourage you that the judgment of people is not the judgment of God. God sees the heart and His grace is not based on our performance. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18, and that He gives grace to the humble, James 4:6. Even when we are faithless, He remains faithful, 2 Tim 2:13, and nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:39. We have prayed in Jesus Name that God will help you to see His providence more clearly, that He will heal the wound caused by being accused of pride, that He will show you His love and not condemnation, and that He will renew your desire to seek Him, to pray, to read His Word and to fellowship with His people. We pray that you will experience that His will is not forced upon you without love, but is good and full of mercy toward you, and that you will know you are not an unfaithful servant cast aside but a child He still loves and calls.
