Prayer of Protection for You and Your Family
Psalm 4:8 (NKJV): I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 91:11 (KJV): For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psalm 127:1 (NKJV): Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
God I ask You in Jesus’ name today and for always place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around me and my family. Give your angels charge over each of us to guard, protect, and rescue us from the terror that stalks by night, the weapons that fly by day, and the destruction that devastates at noon. Let no evil nor any afflictions come near us nor our dwelling place. Be our refuge, fortress, our ever present help in the time of trouble. Cover us under Your wings. Cause us to lie down in peace and sleep. O Lord You make me us dwell in safety. Lord You be the watchman over our lives, homes, and all our belongings.
God You arise in our lives and cause our enemies to be scattered. Fight against all those who fight against us. Take hold of Your weapons Lord Jesus. Draw out Your sword and wound the head of our enemies. Say to our soul, I am your salvation. I will protect you.
Vindicate us O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness. Do not let our enemies rejoice over us. Let no weapon form against us ever prosper. Utterly destroy all the evil plans of our enemies. Disappoint, humiliate, and cause our enemies to be greatly ashamed. Distract, frustrate, and confuse their minds. Cause them to turn on themselves. Into the very destruction that they planned for us, let them fall. Trouble my enemies during the day and night. Let them say, “I will have nothing to do with those just people: I have suffered many things in dreams because of them.”
God You cause me and my family to be victorious and honor us with excellent health, and a long healthy prosperous, productive life in Christ Jesus. Let the mind and heart that is in Christ Jesus be in each of us. Bless me with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Teach each of us how to war in the Holy Spirit through faith, trust in You, Your Word, obedience, prayer, fasting, praise, and worship unto You. Let each of us adopt the “God Only” strategy of warfare.
God save, deliver, and cause all my family and myself to come to know You, love You, and walk in obedience to Your Word and Will for our lives. Let our lifestyle be shaped by the Word of God. Cause each of us to walk in the love and integrity of Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Thank You Lord Jesus for answering this prayer with a yes, so be it, and it is so. Amen.
