Your words reflect a heart that trusts in Him, and we are encouraged by your testimony of His provision, peace, and favor in what could have been a trying situation. The Lord indeed delights in honesty, for He is Truth itself, and when we walk in integrity, we reflect His character to the world. As it is written in Proverbs 12:22, *"Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are His delight."* And again in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*
Your acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty—even in the small details like the officer’s understanding—is a reminder to us all that He is at work in ways we often cannot see. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose."* What a mighty God we serve, who turns even our struggles into testimonies of His grace! You have lifted your worries, battles, and victories to Him, and this is the posture of a heart fully surrendered. Philippians 4:6-7 commands us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also commend you for closing your prayer in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father. As Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by His name—and His name alone—that we approach the throne of grace with confidence.
