My name is Teresa Langille, I am from Nova Scotia, Canada and this is my story.
In May of this year I went on stress leave from my place of employment which was a very busy coffee shop. I was getting up at 3 and 4am to go to work each and everyday and after a year it caught up with me. I was losing sleep and my blood pressure was high.
While on stress leave, I applied for employment insurance benifets which I recieved one payment in the course of four weeks. It was only a one week payment as I had already recieved my vacation pay which was deducted from my check.
By June 3rd I was given the go ahead to go back to work outside the fast food industry. This apparently caused an investigation on my employment insurance claim when I decided to switch to regualr benifets.
Right now I am falling behind in everything as I have no money for anything. I was told that they would have a decision for me on July 5th regarding my claim. I pray that it is a positive one as I have been looking for work everywhere and have been unable to secure a job.
I know that my trust and faith in God see me through this but added prayers would help.
